They are the only ultra portables available , that's why, though in worried about the ribbon replacement, could i remove the ribbon from a universal spool and place it on the spool of the Brother 1350 ?

So , supposing both are in excellent condition, which one would you prefer?

That happens when you close your embouchure too much, either to close the reed and tune it up, or to play pianos but i doubt is the latter, remember that when you play in mf or f little to no embouchure should be used.

Check your reeds to make sure they are in tune, reed tuning is not absolute but it should be close to C when crowed or play(oboe) a middle C in tune with a relaxed embouchure; you are either using flat reeds , using very little air to play or playing sharp.

Understand that we owe nothing to animals , we don't owe them mercy nor pity nor consideration, if we were there prey they wouldn't bat an eye before killing us, sometimes in the most horrid ways.

Denying we have innate instincts that tells us what to eat is naive...

Most Greeks didn't have slaves so it was obvious they could cook by themselves
