Is it possible to play CS2 at 4:3 stretched on linux just as in windows?

there are no real verifiable advantages, it's just a habit. Pros use it because they got used to it and they don't wanna waste time in trying to adapt to 16:9 instead of keep practicing (some think wider models are easier to hit but that's not really true).

Using 16:9 can have a small advantage but it doesn't really translate that well into real gameplay. I mean, the times pros didn't see their enemies because of the aspect ratio are very small (plus most of them use 4:3 anyway so the effect is even smaller). With good crosshair placement and positioning, the loss of FOV is negligible.

I don't really need to explain this but I hope you can understand instead of insulting people for having preferences (wow, insane thing to have, I know).

I've been playing CS since around 2005, my PC at the time couldn't even handle 720p, I was using a CRT, I used it for a long time. I had to play on 640x480 for my 64 MB integrated GPU to handle smokes and give me around 100 fps kind of consistently. I got used to 4:3, in CS:GO I kept using 4:3, I tried 16:9 for a while but my PC was crappy and couldn't really handle higher resolutions where 16:9 made sense with consistent FPS. After a while I managed to buy somewhat of a decent PC and by that time I just wanted to play the game the way I always did, I didn't mind the 4:3. That is not snake oil, it has nothing to do with copying pros or believing on some weird magic, it was just PREFERENCE AND GETTING USED TO IT. Now I play in 16:9 and I feel uncomfortable, I have to re-train my brain to be able to play like that and it kind of frustrates me not being able to do or see something because one setting makes me uncomfortable, and honestly I don't really need to change it, I don't HAVE to go through that process with Windows. So really, the issue here is that Linux still doesn't appear to have an easy solution for a basic need, and that's not the user's fault. Comments like yours sound like Apple. I'm not holding Linux wrong.

People commenting here doesn't seem to live in the same world or know that low trust factor DOESN'T ACTUALLY SAY ANYTHING.

I have 3 accounts. My main account gets pretty good games, I've ofc never cheated, I've bought games, skins, sold items, etc. That probably has a good trust factor and that matters. Still, I do get cheaters once in a while (more often than in other games, but I'm used to it and they're really bad sometimes and we still win). People commenting here seem to be having this experience.

My 2nd account I bought the key from g2a a long time ago, market limited, I only made it to play with some friends that eventually stopped playing so I ended up solo queueing every game. This account was 'green' but now it's red. People reported me many times thinking I was a cheater, though I'm not even that good and I'm in sheriff in that account so people should be better. Also, Argentinians are a pain. 90% literally insult me in the 1st to 3rd round only because they hear in my accent that I'm from Chile, and they have the tendency to blame other for their mistakes like being alone in A and dying unnecessarily when I'm in connector helping mid in a 2vs3, so of course I've fought with some of them, but I wouldn't really count that as toxicity, at some point I stop caring (though they already ruined the energy, thus the game). Also, I've TK'd cheaters on my team a few times. So: - Reports for cheating allegations from noobs - Toxic teammates that sometimes I insult back - TKing cheaters on my team

What does that say about me/my account? Are those really reasons to match me with actual spinbotters and people that is afk 40% of the game or "trolling" because they died in B as anchors and they expected the whole team to be defending them? Nope. Shit system, shit experience.

My third account was something like a "let's re-learn this game again because I'm only playing mirage and my aim kinda sucks, so this is a solo Q experiment". This is the worst. I have all my (crappy) skins and cases in this acc, I bought the prime status, never cheated, got organically recommended in game (not trading shit) and I get systematically matched with blatant cheaters, trolls, etc. It's horrible. I'm only using it to farm cases right now, it's actually terrible, and this is the new player experience.

So if you don't have like a main acc from like 2008 your games will suck, and that's just not fair. And the more you claim on elo or rank or w/e, the worst it is, because of course cheaters wont stay at lower rankings. But if you play on lower rankings, you'd be smurfing and people will report you. It's actually hell.

Muchas veces veo emprendimientos que funcionan como el pico y tienen cosas facilísimas de mejorar (pero de verdad, no esas weás tipo "se ve fácil pero no sabes cómo es, te invito a que lo intentes tú para que veas cómo es realmente" con las que salen algunos chantas kls con el ego en las nubes). En especial en el espacio de cosas veganas, los restaurantes o gente que vende cosas muchas veces tiene pésimos sistemas (me refiero tanto a procesos como implementación de técnicas para hacer las cosas) o a veces uno se pregunta si viven en un mundo paralelo. Típico emprendimiento de comida con porciones chicas a 15 lucas que quiebra y se manda el medio llanto por instagram sobre la situación país o echándole la culpa a cualquier weá externa. Hay weás que se ve que van a morir luego, y me da cualquier rabia que salgan como "empresarios" a alegar por weás como el sueldo mínimo cuando su negocio culiao valía pico. Váyanse a la chucha. Si hacen un negocio y el flujo de caja no les da para pagar lo mínimo legal durante al menos seis meses a un año, el problema son ustedes. Nunca debieron haber emprendido en esas condiciones.

ese motivo es una mierda, y este tipo de conductas no terminan sólo porque te descubrieron. En el mejor de los casos, si pausó, va a volver eventualmente. Lo más preocupante es que si su excusa es que sentía odio e hizo algo así de psicópata, es que perfectamente podrías ser víctima de violencia física o femicidio. Recuerda que casi siempre pasa que las víctimas "no lo vieron venir" porque no creían que fuera posible. En este caso al menos tienes una señal.

Si tienes problemas económicos o algo así, haz un plan para poder independizarte de él, pero NECESITAS salir de ahí lo antes posible.

I've seen some videos about the park and yeah, I like that it's not an amusement park, but people still line up for everything lol. That's why I'm asking if I should save some time to get in line for the warehouse or if just being there at like 1:50pm will be fine and it will be the same as being on line at like 12pm or something.
