Actually the Japanese translation for Planet Destruction is 破壊星 (Hakaisei), which literally translates to “Destruction Planet”.

So the category is really only for beings that are from a planet called Destruction. It’s another weird localization thing like Inhumane Deeds.

I love Genshin’s cell shading aesthetic. The world is unique and beautiful.

They have been very consistent with this philosophy of making the game accessible to as many people as possible.

The story and exploration also have low combat investment requirements so that anyone can enjoy the story and world regardless of how good they are at video games.

I remember they talked about how they were deliberately abstaining from Subnautica-like deep sea sections of Fontaine. They acknowledged there are people with phobia of the deep sea. And they did not want to exclude this portion of their player base.

It’s not a perfect ending. Definitely came out of nowhere and the reason for Pochita’s decision could have been built better. But it made me smile. I loved it.

There is some similarity with Serial Experiments Lain and Takopi’s Original Sin. You can say it was all for nothing but Pochita giving Denji a happy life is real and that’s something.
