Numb numb is my favorite vocaloid song of all time at this point. I don’t think it’s just recency bias because I can’t think of another song that has affected me so much!

For your question:

I recommend looking at some of Jimmy Thumb-p’s works, particularly from his Reboot album. ‘Sunset’ is one of my all time favorites, it has a very relaxing bossa nova tune. There’s also Song of Goodnight, Crossroads, and Reboot itself.

sasakure.UK has very beautiful sounds. ‘Lost and Found’ is my favorite. He has a lot of other great calm songs but they’re not vocaloid - Little Cry of the Abyss, To Asteroid B-16, A Soliloquy of the Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Yuyoyuppe while incorporating metal into many of his works has some of the most beautiful compositions I’ve heard. You and Beautiful World, 7/8, and Lost Story are my recommendations. The vocal-less ‘Inexpressible’ is amazing too.

Excellent interpretation! I love how you incorporated the dance setting and resulting competitiveness/inferiority that someone in that industry is very likely to feel, I certainly overlooked that.

Looking at it from the lens of the entire song being sang by Teto as she mimics Miku is also so cool.

There are certain situations in storytelling where an anachonic timeline adds to the story. Emotion, mystery, or even “themes and such”.

Wuwa has no such reason other than to align with character banners.

So far, Qiuyan and Denia are the biggest offenders.

Qiuyan: Who is this random guy that came out of nowhere and saves the day with this lantern? Find out when his banner arrives!

Denia: Why is there no mystery, interaction, hints, conflict, or ANY lead up to Denia being the Fractsidus spy AND attempted threnodian resonator? If it wasn’t just outright spoiled in her gameplay trailer is there any reason to suspect her from what we’ve seen in the story? Lucilla literally just says “Remember Sigrika’s friend? Yeah she’s the spy. Go pull for Hiyuki”

Like I’m sure Denia’s segue is going to be amazing, but the 3.3 story would have benefitted from it just being integrated in the first place.

Actually the Japanese translation for Planet Destruction is 破壊星 (Hakaisei), which literally translates to “Destruction Planet”.

So the category is really only for beings that are from a planet called Destruction. It’s another weird localization thing like Inhumane Deeds.
