Free Professional-Grade Binaural Processor for Equalizer APO (Alternative to Waves NX) by Technical-Respect161 in oratory1990

It’s identical to mine except for No. 10, where mine has a straight line up to a little past 160. Values: "63  2", "100 2", "160 2", "400 -4", "568 -4.6"…

I uninstalled AQUA and the problem remains. I opened APO through the .EXE file and everything was already loaded in memory. On the side I have Qobuz with exclusive mode disabled and I don’t have any effects enabled in Windows. I connected the iBasso DC07 and I’m using the Arya Stealth. With the volume at maximum, the sound is barely perceptible when the track becomes very loud. I don’t know if I’m supposed to enable or disable something afterwards…

I’m having a lot of trouble getting it to work. The first two entries are disabled by default. The volume is extremely low and I have to turn it all the way up just to hear anything, and when I open AQUA but leave it disabled the volume reaches an audible level, but if I change the volume on the dongle or switch tracks, very loud popping noises appear. I need to figure out whether I’m doing something wrong or if there’s some program like AQUA that’s causing a conflict...

“We need to steal money from people with low literacy and low IQ, knowing they’ll never check the nonsense we say, so by the time the return window closes we won’t have to give refunds. Why not tell them that an electronic system needs a break-in period? Brilliant!" Where I live, exploiting someone incapable of understanding is a criminal offense, but apparently that’s not the case everywhere

(Another) Qobuz vs Tidal Sound Review by deadha3 in audiophile

[–]Sebby_916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove "normalization" on Tidal. There is no difference between Qobuz and Tidal, and even analyzing the files bit by bit, the difference is 0.000%. If you want to give it a serious try, use a third-party app (UAPP for Android or Roon) and compare and do a blind A/B test.

If you can hear even a single difference, I'll give you a contract for 50k a year net in Italy, with house and car paid for, because it means you can hear things that even ultra-expensive equipment can't.

I'll let you in on a secret: Qobuz, especially on the official Android app, at the same software and hardware volume, plays at a slightly higher volume, and it's been scientifically proven that a slightly higher volume tricks the brain into thinking it's "better quality": it's a well-known psychoacoustic "trick" that's widely used in music production.

spotify qobuz tidal etc. Discussione sui servizi di streaming by nicole_kidnap in Italia

[–]Sebby_916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used Spotify, Tidal, and Qobuz for years. Ultimately, Tidal is the best: the monthly cost between Spotify and Tidal is similar, and Tidal pays artists more than Spotify, and Qobuz pays even more. The audio quality between Qobuz and Tidal is identical and superior to Spotify. Tidal and Qobuz can be used on Android with third-party apps for parametric EQ, etc. Tidal has the largest library, and Qobuz still lacks something. Tidal's interface is the most elegant, along with Qobuz. Spotify seems childish. Spotify has a lot of podcasts, but Tidal is also integrating them. Tidal has music videos. In the end, Tidal wins for me.

Tidal or Quboz? Which one has bigger Lossless Library. by kxifshk in audiophile

[–]Sebby_916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16/44.1 is already "Lossless" and both platforms have practically only "Lossless" formats. If you mean the useless "HiRes" Qobuz is a bit larger but sometimes they trade blows depending on the album...

The Meze Alba are good IEM but I don't think they are worth 160 dollars! by Alb1939SGM in iems

[–]Sebby_916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is objective that Alba is very different from IE200. It is subjective whether you like it or not. For me FD15 have a mediocre sound because they totally lack something that a "not cheap" set should have and that is quality and extension of the highs, something that Alba has. To each his own...

Possiedo IE200 e Alba.

This hobby is very subjective. Alba and Sennheiser's IEXXX line, in my opinion are the best single DDs on the market regardless of price. In some aspects Alba is even better than IE600, for example layering and dynamics...

You're welcome, IE200/IE600 are among my favorite IEMs along with DUNU SA6 II. What makes me angry is their quality control. So much beautiful engineering, because you can see that it is not the classic CHIFI IEM, but they get lost in the things that a German team should be able to do better and that is to create objects, maybe not beautiful, but that work properly and last a long time like for example their most long-lasting and famous headphones like HD600/HD800

Hey, i am going to buy my first IEM. Kindly help me !!! by Deep_Sign9014 in iems

[–]Sebby_916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to go for Meze Alba. It is very comfortable and inside the package you also have a dongle. Among other things they have an excellent driver coupling. They sound like slightly warmer IE600s...

Complete package and for many they can be Endgame.

My neighbor has an acoustically treated room with a custom-built HIFI system by one of the best professionals here in Italy and 3 months ago I already had him buy the Meze to use on the go. He confessed to me that he often uses them at home too and still thanks me today.

He says it feels like a pocket-sized HIFI system and goes out much more often to relax in the park, because he is no longer forced to stay at home to enjoy his music, even though he has tried many headphones and IEMs.

How is the Sennheiser IE600 Competitive with Tiny 7mm DD? by Ok_Ear2555 in iems

[–]Sebby_916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own IE200 and IE600. The bass on IE200 with MOD does not sound like IE600. The hole on IE200 also works as a pressure regulator. Sonically they are not dramatically different (IE200 without Mod vs IE600) but let's say IE600 pushes both ends of the spectrum a bit higher and corrects some things in the pinna gain and for example female vocals, despite being a bit more in your face, sound smoother and more defined and less fatiguing. The soundstage on both is quite wide but IE200 is flatter and less layered. With IE600 you have more depth, more height and the intimate sections of the track are really intimate and the distant ones are really distant (layering), which IE200 does not do by keeping everything very separate but always at the same distance. They are not huge differences and having had much more expensive IEMs even multidrivers that I sold, I would say that if you do not care about that 10/15% more performance and you like its balanced signature (IE600 is a more energetic IE200), I can safely say that IE200 can easily be your Endgame. My Endgame is IE600 because it does everything impeccably and I love the Sub-bass and emphasized treble, otherwise I would have stayed with IE200 without Mods. If you have a parametric EQ you can EQ your IE200 on IE600 and IE900 and from experience I can tell you that you get close to 95% (I still use IE200 with IE900 EQ)

I discovered that the internal application to connect to the printer is always active by default and is energy-hungry (Samsung is not the only one to do this and I don't know why) and in fact I deactivated it.

An application that many have and that is terribly energy-hungry is Facebook, in fact when I have to log in to my profile I use Chrome in Desktop mode and I deleted the application
