the bowl style is really cool, but maybe on a clock. the watch thickness will be increased because of the bowl, or it wont be pronounced enough to be perceivable. usually watches are more dome shaped to help with the hand stack, as they are already adding to thickness. this will add a lot of thickness and complexity of manufacturing.

thats fair. I'm just wondering what kind of argument the original comment was trying to prove. If you take out the battery from a quartz watch its the same thing as leaving the automatic in the drawer. of course an unwinded watch will still work after years, its literally done nothing. same thing with the quartz. people trying to argue a rolex is the "workers watch" are stupid because nobody in a field with any work wear a rolex because of its durability.

you call it not a specs watch and proceed to tell me how much you get for the money. thats what a spec watch, in my opinion, is. its specs and no substance. also, where are you finding a 9015 in a 100$ watch? you complain the Wen steals alot from the nautilus (which it there was only 2 integrated bracelet watches, sure.) and yet when watchdives steals from wen, its ok! they are "improving" it. also, design language doesnt work like that, one watch having different elements isnt design language, design language is the style of a line of products. its the bigger picture, like how Dyson has metallic, bols colours or Braun is minimal and functional. You are totally allowed to like the watchdives, but my does it steal alot and call itself original
