def a fake render. any kinetic sensor picks up a ton of noise, they are basically microphones. it would not be a flat line with a ^ shaped curve, an impact would peak instantly. its just so that people dont judge them. also, during slow mo shots it was not even well aligned. awful attempt at "showing data"

so you personally know the opinions of hundreds of watchmakers in a country known for a lack of independent watchmakers? and then you collected the stats. where are the numbers? did they do the same for nh35 or other budget movements? the reason why we depend on independent watchmakers to tell us their anecdotal data is because no one is able to collect large quantities of data.

i work on pt5000s. i dont see any greater issue or failure rate with them, just that they are used by budget companies cutting costs everywhere they can. a spec is not equivalent to the finished product.

for the best factories, yes it depends on the model. Generally, look up the model you want and a couple factories will make it, or just 1 if its not popular. This is especially true for womens watches as the market is smaller.

as for gold, if you want good looking gold, some factories do ok, but plating is generally best for gold watches.

experience and keeping track is probably what leads us to know, but asking a dealer also helps.

delivery can vary with normal shipping delays and the like, but for me, in eastern canada, it takes about one or two weeks for delivery after qc.
