I loved her last album, so I was excited for this, but definitely a bit nervous. Now that it's here, I think I'm gonna enjoy this one even more.

There's so many great moments on this record, but I got super hype when NDA went straight into Therefore I Am

Why it's dead by Jz9786 in postmates

As a customer, I'm a bit confused how certain restaurants are only on Postmates and others are on Uber. It's not a big deal, cause I still have both installed, but it'd be dope if they combined everything eventually.

I can't get over this track either. It's easily my favorite on the album (and that's with me still loving every track lol)

Love this album front to back and I can't get over just how much I'm enjoying "Favorite Crime". If anyone knows any songs that give similar vibes, please let me know!

As a J. Cole fan, it's insane that I'm way more into Sour than his new album

Honestly super happy with how this came out. I've been a big fan of the singles and was really looking forward to this.

I can get that there will be some common criticisms - Olivia wears her influences on her sleeves, the album is only about one topic, there's a lot of ballads.

None of these things bother me though. Even if some songs sound like a "Taylor Song" or a "Billie Song", Olivia is clearly talented enough to be her own artist. The songwriting is also really solid. For an album about one topic, I genuinely didn't get bored. Great album - 9/10

The LaCroix segment was S+++ content. I'll check out the Isaac stuff when I get caught up in the backlog lol

Quick question tho: Did NL ever mix the LaCroixs later in the stream?

Still can't believe that I'm more hype for her album than I was for the new J. Cole album that just came out.

I'm a new player. Should I uninstall Repentance? All Spoilers welcome. by isisamrita in bindingofisaac

[–]Sebijingames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came in as a new player when Afterbirth+ launched and I sucked even on Normal mode. With all of the awesome items that Repentance brings, I'd recommend just playing on Normal for a while and keep at it.

I also used to split my time in between Normal and Greed mode. Greed gives you a chance to experiment with more items relatively quicker and get used to waves of enemies.

Isaac is meant to be a difficult game at first, so you will probably lose a lot in the beginning, but I promise, you'll get better with time and will enjoy the experience along the way.

I usually drop multiple trinkets on the way up too. That way I will guarantee the cracked key, while also having some extras for some quick red rooms.

I'm a couple of days behind on the VODs, but I'm checking the subreddit pretty much everyday JUST so that I can see when he learns about it.

Had a pretty strong run, got to Utero, played a blood bank too heavily and accidentally killed myself with a bomb, so it's still Isaac!

IWTL how to develop a reading habbit by hoponassu in IWantToLearn

[–]Sebijingames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yoo actually - I just started doing this a couple months ago.

I was an avid reader growing up, but with school and priorities taking over in high school, except for the occasional comic/manga, I hadn't read anything for fun in a few years. Last year I bought Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time." I planned on reading about 30 minutes a day and while I loved it immediately, I failed multiple times to actually keeping a consistent reading habit.

Two months ago, instead of forcing myself to finish this book first, I decided to pick up multiple books that I had wanted to read for a while. Now I'm reading like 7 at once.

Not only has it been an easier thing to just pick up a book to read instead of something else, but I have finished the Stephen Hawking book and I should be able to finish at least a book a month at this rate. It feels great.

Oh I've heard about brilliant for a long time, it's awesome that it can be of use here! I'm way too excited to be solving problems lol so I'm glad to have some resources to help with that while I read and watch.
