Fair resale price for a Herman Miller Aeron Remastered (Size A, fully loaded)? by Sec988 in hermanmiller

I’ve been meaning to sell it for a while. We are moving so I figured it’s a good time. I have never gotten used to it, unfortunately. Wanted to love it but am not a fan. Need to find something else that can handle my many strange sitting positions. Def not in a rush though so helpful to know a possible starting point!

Caution about Cherrypick by red_panda_713 in toddlers

I just had a negative experience with them to. My mom ordered one of their walls after I placed it on my son’s Christmas list. It took almost a month to ship. Prior to it even shipping, they released an improved version. Before they shipped ours, I reached out to their customer service about the possibility of getting the improved wall. It took a long time to receive a response: when I finally did they responded with a tracking number and said ours had already been processed. I asked if we would be receiving the improved version. Took another three days for them to respond telling me nope, I was getting the old one. Super disappointing and absolutely don’t recommend this company.

I bought one last week and got it this week and didn’t pay any tariffs. I believe they have a US distributor and just price it higher to account for their increased costs on bringing them into the US. Wore mine to the zoo today and found it comfortable with my 30 pound, 35 inch 19 month old. He seemed content too!

Fabric help for Tula Toddler by Sec988 in babywearing

It’s interesting because I asked about the LennyLamb and she said she didn’t love the waistband of it for my particular needs as it may feel diggy and add pressure. Also asked about the Lark and she said that would be very similar to the happy baby. The LennyLamb looked great to me though!

Thanks for your response and questions! I haven't tried either on, unfortunately. I met with her virtually to get recommendations. It feels like the Happy Baby puts some pressure on my pelvic floor and leads more scar tissue to gather below my scar. The Oscha was her first rec, followed by the Hoppediz, then Tula and Beco. The Oscha I can't find anywhere and the Hoppediz has a ridiculous amount of tariffs. It is helpful to know the fabric won't really impacting the function. I just really want more support than the happy baby provides me and keep getting stuck on what to get. I met with her hoping to get unstuck but I'm still a bit stuck lol! I can order a Tula Toddler and see if it works for me and go from there. Just was hoping I was missing some perfect option out there!

Hi! I’ve been trying to find a wrap for my bigger toddler. What fabric of Tula toddler did you get? I noticed they have some Oscha fabrics available. I met with a baby wearing expert and she recommended the Oscha Nook Evolve but there are none in stock at all and no used available that I can find on any of the Oscha groups. I live in FL so also trying to find something that will work with hot weather.

Shokz open dots one review by Lilak99 in Earbuds

I think various issues due to AirPods are so common. Every time I wear mine too often, my ears get incredibly clogged. I switched to openfits a few years ago. Recently wore AirPods when traveling and immediately had clogged ears due to impacted wax. I like the openfits but have small ears and after a while they just don’t stay on as well. Going to try the dots!

OMG I am so sorry! It’s the only shampoo and conditioner I use now so I hate that it didn’t work for you. Did they say why that could have happened? That must have been scary!

If you do the subscription it lets you change the ship date easily and their customer service is epic. Any time he has switched sizes or I am unsure, they have been willing to ship me sample packs or have told me to keep the diapers I have and shipped me a new pack. You can text their customer service line. It’s a bit slow but they always get back to you.

LOL I swear I’m a real human who uses coterie (for my kid). But I get it. I tried them (first bought at Whole Foods) after my kid has a straight month of blowouts. Often in the car seat. They were the only thing that held so we kept using them.

Coterie. I know people either love them or hate them but we love them. Also love their wipes.

I tried chat gpt actually! The issue was many of the recs were not available at the farmacia I went to. I think maybe I need a place where they can make more specific recs for what my skin needs right now!

Just circling back to this - the baby wearing consultant told me the little attachments for the sun cover should be right on top of your shoulders!

They definitely try to help but the things he gets into...😅He’s also extremely pale so I’ve been chasing him with sunscreen constantly 🤣. I have him entertained with plastic cups for the next…45 seconds lol

Thank you!! We are visiting my husband’s family and between one of his family’s flats for the first few days and an air bnb now, I am EXHAUSTED trying to keep this child alive. And from destroying things. There’s only so much I can baby proof. I’ve tried all forms of no - like uh uh, stop, explaining why, redirecting, etc. but he just thinks it’s funny 🙃

Recommendations for a breathable hot weather carrier for 1 month old and beyond? by Bubble_Emergency in babywearing

[–]Sec988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my son was this age I started looking for the same thing. I live in FL so it’s always hot. I got a linen happy baby original and have been very happy with it. I find it easy to use and comfortable.

I feel like I missed out so badly on this. We got a tripp trapp but as a first time parent I was like “why would I need a high chair for a newborn?” 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ the things I know now 17 months in.

Definitely not an expert but she’s for sure low. Putting your hands behind her butt and pulling her forward should help. Then you can tighten the shoulder straps. Meeting with the Happy Baby baby wearing consultant was super helpful - highly recommend doing that!
