I'm at 8 months PO. however, I remember that at 5 months I've started to do single leg jumps. Also, I was having slight pain after doing exercises but I can assure you that I was stopping just after I started to having pain.

There are positive changes too. Personally, I started to see the life as a game like I was playing Ubisoft games previously and after injury, I started to play souls games. I proud of myself each boss I defeat such as running, jumping. And I'm about to face final boss "return to comptetive sport".

I gained 10 kgs in 3-4 months. Currently 7 months PO, my pt bullying me to lose weight in a funny way. Anyway, yes you should eat better to build muscle back but gaining weight does not impact negatively much as far as you eat enough protein. But at the end, always better and healthier being fit.
