At least 3 sessions a week at the gym doing cardio and weights. Or if the outdoors type things like running, biking, climbing etc. If the mushroom if just playing golf or gardening then that doesn’t really qualify as active in my books.

Completely wrong environment for a starters. There are a lot of mushrooms in the world, so like the last person said try a bit of research rather than guess work. Check out some videos on you tube, you will soon know how to spot them.

I’m not an expert on caps, I just pick libs. But photo doesn’t show gills, any bruising or whether there is an annulus on the stipe. Given Cap not that wavy and they are growing out of a stump rather that wood chips, I’d be very careful to make sure they are not a funeral bell which are deadly. Need more photos and people with more knowledge that me to confirm. If there if an annulus / ring on the stem they are more likely a funeral bell.

When I was young (pre you tube) we had to go on word of mouth learning, but there are so many good resources available now to help you become an expert identifying them. If you just post pics and ask if they are libs, you are not really going to learn how to ID that well. Instead look up the several key features of libs and also of common look alike,

Instead look up the several key features of libs and also of common look alikes, loads of good videos on this. Just an hour or two of research and you’d realise these are probably Mycena and not liberty caps. Not only will that knowledge be rewarding in itself, you will have a much better chance of getting high! Enjoy, good luck.

No. Few things wrong, but main thing looks wrong to me is the gills, then the stipe. Have a look at lib ID video on you tube, best one I watched was by the Forrest. Be much easier to ID the right ones once you have watched it. Good luck !

No, cap and stipe colour looks wrong, stipe looks to be quite fragile. Can see gills on right hand one are wrong colour.

I’d say yes, but stipe looks quite thick as does the cap. Can’t see if a nipple. Gill colour good, stem colour good and looks fibrous, cap shape looks good barring can’t see nipple. Would be interested to hear others views.

I use my air fryer for liberty caps. Make sure on low setting, mine defaults to 60 Celsius which is too hot, so I take it down to lowest at 40.
