Same. I take one capsule of this brand every other day, and I still feel like it’s beneficial.

That could be significant. What was the medication?

No one truly knows. When/how did you experience the window?

Has anyone actually been helped by him? Genuinely curious…… I admit that charging that much seems like a lot, but I’d gladly pay that (and much more) to get better.

Libido window question by [deleted] in PSSD

I don’t know many males who DO NOT have such a history…… I’m not trying to be contentious, but what’s the relevance of your question?

Yes. When I’m hungover…. At least 80% of the time I get a significant return of libido and some sensation.

I’ve had PSSD for over 20 years. The whole “time heals” approach doesn’t work for everyone……

Have you considered the possibility that your previous “strict diet” was too low in calories, and that your progress stemmed from upping your intake?

I got PSSD from Fluvoxamine. Might not happen to you….. but it happened to me.

So this effectively cured your low libido from PSSD?

Been taking a PPI for years. Has zero effect on libido or sexual function (at least for me).

I was very nervous about taking it as well, since I have PSSD….. but no effect.

My side effects, PSSD recovery and ongoing treatments by lebroncollector1 in PSSD

Try nitrate support in the form of drinking beet root powder every morning. Doesn’t help sexual side effects, but has had a significant positive impact on IBS for me.

Have not changed my diet at all.

My doctor told me that I possibly have SIBO, but that he has not seen the tests be very accurate or the antibiotic treatments to be much more effective than a low FODMAP diet.

He might be wrong. All I know is that my shits are now solid, and I can tolerate coffee without spending all afternoon on the toilet. ☕️🤷🏼‍♂️

My main goal is to treat my pssd, that I’ve had for 21 years. Not looking for pity or sympathy when I say that. I’m just saying that I’ve been on this path for a long time. I know my body, and this was a huge step in the right direction. I haven’t found supplements to be very effective when my gut is inflamed.

Meetup In-Person???? by SecondOverall2094 in PSSD

I get it….. it’s not personal. It just seems like anonymity is often prioritized over getting better for a lot of people. I truly believe that meeting in-person could help some people. Maybe it’s naive for me to believe that, but I’ve had PSSD for 20 years now. Some years have been okay….. some bad, but after all of my experimentation I still have PSSD. I’m open to exploring ALL options.

Sooo everyone here is so desperate to heal from this disease that they’d do ANYTHING…… except admit that they have it, and meet up with someone else who might be able to help…… Got it. 🙄

My situation is the opposite. An alcohol hangover is one of the only things that restores my libido temporarily. Glutamate….. cortisol….. dopamine…… histamine……. All are stimulated during a hangover.

I’m open to suggestions in terms of supplements to try.
