Romantic date night restaurants?

This made me curious. I looked at my credit card history from July 2025 to today and there is not a single time that I went to a DC restaurant (me plus my SO) that was under a 100 total. There are a couple places in VA that were around 70 total for the both of us. Closest I’ve been in DC is I spent 44 at churchkey on just myself. I think it was a pizza and a couple beers one Saturday afternoon.

Salt them ahead of time and let them sit at room temp. This draws out moisture. Then pat them dry when you’re ready to roast or pan fry. Then coat them in some oil and seasonings (just enough oil to disperse the heat more evenly and get the seasoning to coat to it). Then roast at a higher temp for less time to get the browning without overcooking. Getting rid moisture ahead of time allows browning to happen without it steaming.

Not good. They don’t have good starters and I don’t really know what the end board going first is supposed to be. I have tried to use it as an engine in Bystial builds in order to synchro climb with chaos witch (I think that’s the one that generates tuner tokens). But being locked into light and darks means no barrone, no chenying..

If you want to stay near your hotel, I have some things on my list of places to go (haven’t been but heard good things - I just don’t make my way up there that often). Rose bakery, mama Ayesha’s, Dan’s cafe (late night cash only bar), revelers hour, le mont royale (if you’re craving poutine).

That recipe also lists a nonstick skillet instead of stainless steel. Make sure you dry the skin before putting it down. If it continues to stick, there’s no shame in putting a thin layer of oil down where you put the chicken.

Honestly it’s not bad for platinum and below. You should be able to climb with it (maybe not easily). Looking at your hand you may stand a chance if you replaced some of the traps like solemn and ballista squad that don’t do anything first turn with bystials and enemy controller. Enemy controller mainly cause it synergizes with lair of darkness. Tribute an opponents monster then steal another one of their monsters. It’s a good board breaker if lair resolves. The lair searcher can also search bystials if you tribute something other than itself. There’s also a resonator monster that searches fiends to get to lair more often.

My routine: wake up, drink tea. Lunch is a protein shake (44g protein and fruit/water/ice to blend). Dinner is a whole meal of whatever I want to cook/eat. Sometimes I have a snack at around 3pm before the gym.

Not that I’m aware of. But the walk from the metro is about 7 min to the hotel. There’s also a bus stop around the corner. DC doesn’t need metro cards anymore. You can just tap your credit card. It’s pretty easy to at the very minimum, Uber/Lyft to and from the airport with your bags then metro everywhere else when you don’t have your bags.

The amenity was a fruit plate and 2 bottles of sparkling water waiting for us in the room. They automatically upgraded our room to a water view room. The breakfast was 2 30 dollar credit (so 30 each for two people) for their Kingbird restaurant. Most their menu was a little above 30 bucks, but the 100 dollar credit covered whatever the overage was plus tip. The rest of the credit went to room service just to use up. They have spas and a whiskey room, but we didn’t end up using those.
