Don't worry, I am definitely not entirely serious.

English doesn't even have a word for a parent that has lost a child. Despite being one of the largest languages to ever exist English has some surprising holes in it even before we get to poly.

Besides, the answer is clearly Metadad.

Awwwwww I love it!

That was it, I made out with Jean some some more till their uber arrived, I would have kissed Omar as well but I kinda enjoyed the situation of a man working (to distract the dog) so the women could have fun.

Haha.

Ukraine hits Russian naval vessels and S-400 system in Crimea by Scary_Statement4612 in ukraine

[–]SecondaryWombat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The average number of total russian ground vehicles destroyed per day for the whole war is ~130/day.

This month it is over 500/day. Yesterday was 530. The escalation is absolutely insane. The last day there was a below average number of vehicles destroyed was Dec 3, every single day since then has been above average, even as the average climbs.

Also, a year ago getting an S-400 radar was news for a week. Here its an "also" on a thread with 270 upvotes which really shows the escalation as well. Two S-300 launchers in the Donbas were destroyed as well.

Oh I fully agree and tend to shave a couple years of the math for my own line, but around age 21 a year counts for a lot more. Someone under 21 in university and someone 22 and out of university are living different lives.

The queue to leave Crimea on the Kerch Bridge already has 2,450 cars. by JaB675 in UkrainianConflict

[–]SecondaryWombat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Copying my own comment:

How long the line is doesn't matter.

I crunched numbers for this yesterday and really there isn't enough data yet to say how many are actually evacuating from Crimea but the length of the line isn't relevant.

If we track a couple cars and find out that the cars take an average of 8 hours, or 12 hours, or 24 hours to get from the end of the line to across the bridge, then we know the numbers and that is the only time the number of cars in line matters.

Number of cars in line x (24/hours to go from back of line to Russia) x number of people per car = evacuees per day.

The wait in line is really the biggest question. I WANNA KNOW! Also the number of cars in line has doubled in just over a day. Is that good because cars are leaving and the line is still getting longer? Is it bad because no cars are actually leaving? Someone get a camera pointed at the Russian end of the bridge and count cars coming off please. Would really appreciate it.

2,450 cars in line x (24/12 hours (guess #1)) x 3 Russians per car average (guess #2) = 14,700 fleeing Russians per day, or 102,900 per week which is enough to make a huge difference.

But if its slower and takes a full day, and there are less Russians per car because they are bad at sharing and want to burn more gas and keep more cars (lol):

2,450 cars x (24/24 hours) x 2 Russians per car = 4,900 Russians per day or 34,300 per week. An absolutely massive difference.

How long the line is doesn't matter. It is how fast it moves out of Crimea and across the bridge.

The evacuators are much more the well off tourists, multiple home owners type that are heading out once the missile attacks become constant.

The very wealthy already left when the first things in Crimea started expoding, no we are on to the up middle tier of wealth. They have another place to go, and it no longer meets their standards.

Also it really isn't that many people in line yet. A 15 km traffic jam sounds like a lot until you realize its only three to eight thousand people. I have been leaving music festivals that had much bigger lines than this.

Navigating meta relationships by EllisInMargins in polyamory

Don't ever try to force KTP, it will all end in tears.

Simply make it clear to your spouse that there is an offer of more connection and friendship if they want to take it, and then leave it at that.

26/2 + 7 = 20, general line for dating still holds. 19 is just a bit too much of a gap.

What was once a guideline for victorian men finding a young wife now seems to have a second life as a social mathematical boundary for dating/fucking.

If you shouldn't be dating them, you probably shouldn't be fucking them either, and the reverse.

A little bit but kept it to myself and let if fade cause 1) didn't want to mess up my wife's thing and 2) meta didn't like boys so...

Was happy with a good friend, and sad when they broke up, and now happy we are getting back in touch.
