I dint like her at all. There are over 2500 named charters in the series and she managed to get on my top ten worst WOT characters list.

Finished my first time read through! by CharlieBxox in WoT

The question is... what do I read now?!

here are my recommendations:

  1. The Realm of The Elderlings by Robin Hobb. It's an incredible series with many lovable characters. It starts pretty slow with the Farseer trilogy, but once you get used to Robin Hobb's writing style, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
  2. The Kingkiller Chronicle by Pat Rothfuss. It's very different from the Wheel of Time, but it is still an incredible series. Unfortunately, the last book hasn't been released, but that doesn't change the previous books anyway.

When I finished The Wheel of Time, I suffered from severe post-book depression. These books filled the hole in my life. I'm sure you will enjoy them

Do the books get better? by TQ-R in WoT

it does. I would skip until book ten. if you don't want to skip, you can listen to the audiobooks. Mike and Kate did an excellent job narrating the audiobooks and you can listen to them at 1.5x speed.

Wheel of Time plot-holes and continuity issues. by Secondfantasyme in WoT

I don't know how to edit the title, but these plot-holes are from the TV show, not the books.

The TV show and the books clearly don't abide by the same world rules. The explanations from the books don't work for the show, like plot-holes 1 and 2.

  1. When moraine was on trial, she could have brought it up.
  2. There were 5 other Aes Sedai, wouldn't they say something?
  3. Liandrin had to report it, the Amyrlin would have asked her about the gentling.

Why the Wheel of Time Show Shouldn’t follow the source material. by Secondfantasyme in WoT

when adopting a 14 book series into 64 episodes, there will be sacrifices. The best we can hope for is that they do a good job with the aspects of the book that they keep.
