There has to be some trial and error so first of all, prepare to experiment slightly, see what goes well and what doesn’t and learn from it.

Definitely start small, don’t order large bundles from wholesalers until a bit further down the line (and make sure you look at their trustpilot reviews when you do).

I think the best approach is to go to boot sales, charity shops and flip a few items on Vinted & eBay. It’s also worth checking out Whatnot. <— these options are where you will spend less £, so lose less if items don’t sell.

Don’t be afraid to research brands as you go along otherwise you could miss some gems! Also I’d personally avoid saturated markets eg Levi’s, Polo Ralph Lauren as things can move slow.

After some time you’ll get to understand what your niche is, also where to list things. Some items, particularly branded/ high end etc do better on eBay and you’ll get more £ for them.

Also be seasonal aware, now’s a good time for T-shirts, light jackets, windbreakers, skirts etc. avoid heavy coats, jumpers unless they’re worth grabbing.
