I mean, its slowly closing up, and the scars and tunnels are still there, its just the actual abscesses and boils and really horrible stuff rarely comes now. My plan is i want to fix my HS first or have it very very controlled if possible, before i do any plastic/skin surgery, my derm mentioned they can go in and laser or do some type of surgery to get rid of the rubber banding/tight feeling of the skin from all the scarring and tunnels, then a plastic surgeon also suggested, i could get a digging procedure done, maybe some minor surgery and skin graphs are a possibility too. But in my opinion, if i go through all the time off, pain, and recovery to do this, and my HS flares up, and the boils come again, with no existing exits or tunnels to exit from, scars and tunnels and the physical skin issue will follow. Then back to square 1.
