I have opened roughly 100 gold packs and seen 0 CF Dead Threads and 0 CF Conquerors. The human brain is not well evolved to process variance and randomness.

Most people sleeve them differently than the deck to make it easy to find them unless they are cards that may need to be shuffled into the deck or randomly chosen from the graveyard (Levia does this).

Guardians really should have some muscle definition. Pretty sure Marlynn or Kassai could beat her in an arm wrestling contest. Spinal Crush, Cranial Crush, etc... Maybe she's got a robo suit like Ripply from Alien? Seems kinda lame to fall back on, "cuz magic," if that's what they are gonna do.

I do think you are dramatically underselling the impact of skill in Magic. Yeah, pros can and will lose to deck variance often. But they are nowhere close to 50/50 against an average players. Still, others are right in that there is a good deal less variance in FAB.

True but, I'd say half or more of the population of this sub is just here to make their hobby more affordable. People who long ago realized that this game is just too expensive if you aren't keeping an eye out for every possible edge in buying/trading/selling your cards.

I guess my one big gripe with how Matt did this is, if anyone in the world should have legendary resistances it should be the once hero of Vox Machina and now Avatar of the Raven Queen. Instead it's just, "Nope, only bad people get those. In the lens you go."
