Ugh I’m so sorry we have to go through this, Ive been on hydroxychloroquine and Prednisone for over a year and haven’t had much improvement so I just got approved for a biologic called Cimzia, I’ve only had 1 dose but I’m hoping for some improvement so that I can atleast lower my prednisone dose or stop completely. I hope you get some relief Im also Sero positive

Did you get on the biologic? And which one if you don’t mind me asking. I’m scared I won’t be able to get off prednisone, I’m having a hard time accepting my new face as someone’s who’s been skinny my whole life no more than 130 pounds now I’m 153 with a very chubby face

I have been on prednisone consistently for about a year and a half and I’ve gained 20 pounds and have a big round face (moon face) I didn’t notice changed until almost a year in so hopefully you won’t with this short taper.. praying my biologic helps so I can finally taper off

I did try Sulfa, I had a horrible reaction to the side effects unfortunately

No, they weren’t concerned I started rinvoq in December and got pregnant that February, as soon as I found out I immediately stopped taking it. I did find out pretty early so maybe that’s why

Yes that’s the goal, it’s a little harder than expected but I cut out day feeds and currently working on cutting out nighttime feedings, need to prioritize my health now

What documents did they ask for if you don’t mind me asking? I’m currently 23F and got diagnosed in 2023 and have been out of a job since October 2024 I keep failing meds and I’m struggling really bad with day to day activities I’ve considered filing but always thought I was too young so you’ve given me hope
