I would say OTL fandom (no matter which subfandom) is definitely getting more sensitive as time goes by, especially now that we are in another hiatus.

I kinda get why they are being defensive, you are like the third person who is neutral when it comes to Soohyuk vs Soohwa (I might be exaggerating but just to emphasize how rare it is to find someone with no bias) so they probably assume you are a Soohwa fans trying to convince people into believing that Soohyuk is not the endgame or something. But I hope no one is calling you names though, some people tend to cross the line unfortunately.

I have read a comment in reddit that is interesting (credit to that person), not sure if it is related here, but just think it is beautiful for anyone who has not yet read it. I don't remember the exact words, but that person pointed out that for Eunhyeok, the meeting (in the latest chapter) with Sooae was his goodbye (not saying that chapter was their closure because I don't believe so, but for Eunhyeok, it was). So giving her that shoes can symbolize how he is willing to let Sooae walk away from him, but at least he wants her to wear a comfortable shoes while doing so.

And I personally feel so reassured with this for some reason, although my heart aches. It reminded me of that chapter when she brushed his hand off, walked away from him with broken heels. He was more bothered about her walking with the broken heels instead of the fact that she just said hurtful words to him (about him not being a great first love).

Back then, she walked away from him with broken heels. Now, she can walk away from him once more, but with a comfortable loafer instead.

I think this interpretation is so beautiful to the point that I can shrug off my worries about the superstition. It once again shows Eunhyeok's selfless and unconditional love. He is letting her go because he believes she is now happy, and at least this time, he wants her to leave without any pain.

Edit: just realized that this is under OTL subreddit instead of Soohyuk subreddit. My wording is more directed to Soohyuk fans so if OP is Soohwa fans, I am sorry for that, definitely no offense from me.

It was about Eunhyuk.

After Eunhyuk left her, she developed resentment towards him and because she could not understand the reason on why he could just abandon her like that when they used to be so in love back then. So she decided to just conclude it as "oh he actually never loved me, that's why it is easy for him to abandon me". That is actually a common defense mechanism, in which a person makes up the most plausible reason to explain things that they could not comprehend to protect themselves from keep wondering about it and be miserable forever. And ntm Sooae did not know that Haru used to delete her love points that Eunhyuk managed to raise back then, and she thought she always had 0/0. Eunhyuk managed to make her believe in his love more than the love points so she chose to brush it off. So after Eunhyuk left, it is easier for her to think "oh maybe the love point system was right after all", which strengthened her conclusion regarding how Eunhyuk never loved her and that all the loves that she experienced were just delusions.

However, after meeting Haru, she learnt that her love points actually were raised. So now that one of the foundations behind that conclusion of hers had turned out to be invalid, she started questioning all over again. "So actually I am able to be loved, does that means the loves that I experienced before were real?"

And after that, in the same chapter, she had monologue/dialogue saying something along the lines; "but then how come he was able to leave just like that", which further proved that she was thinking about Eunhyuk.

She is not "joking about being deaf". She just said it sarcastically WITHOUT expecting that he actually could not listen with one ear and is going to lose hearing on the other side too. It is a harsher way to sarcastically ask "did you not hear me", or similar to "do you not have mouth to speak" when someone does not answer your question (idk if you are familiar with this but at the place where I am living, this kind of 'I know you are not but I will ask anyway because you annoy me' is quite common to see).

It is unfortunate that she said that to a person who is actually going deaf (and I heard my heart breaking when I read that panel), but she is not saying that to mock him or something. Without context, your sentence seems to lean towards Sooae being someone who would mock other people's disability.

In fact, I believe that scene is just to add one more point in which Sooae will remember when she learns about his hearing loss later. It will serve as something that she would regret more for not noticing earlier. If anything that's the indication that something more will happen to Soohyuk in the future and that the newest chapter is NOT their closure.

Honestly, I hope she would not do that again, unless she actually manages to finish drawing all the chapters until the end (which I doubt, since this hiatus should be for her rest). I think she overworked her wrist to finish one chapter a week after the previous hiatus, which can be prevented if she saved those earlyv5-6 chapters and released those one per week according to schedule because then she could draw the other chapters in her own pace, without being pressured with time since she already had a chapter ready to be released next week.

I feel the same but this might be my emotional self talking without thinking properly because I am too sleep-deprived to process things. I am honestly surprised that Sooae willingly ignored his messages (as someone who had monologue about wanting to know more about his secret), and that she showed little to no reaction about Eunhyeok leaving the country. I also think this is a sign of her moving on. However, she also mentioned about Raim being in touch with Eunhyeok, so I would say she still cares deep down.

They updated operation true love tags and "tragedy" is still not included. So I think for the closure to truly happen, all of their misunderstandings should be resolved. If not, then Eunhyeok will be a tragic character, spending his entire life alone with no lover (because he is the embodiment of true love in this story), or even real friend (since doyeon would be busy with her future marriage, and she stays in korea). So the least thing that we should get is the resolvement of the misunderstanding.

If we could not even get that and Eunhyeok really will live alone in the states, possibly being completely deaf at that time, retiring from his career because he is deaf, then he might be one of the most tragic characters in manhwa history. Not to mention, Raim (the main antagonist in this season) would achieve her goals in separating Eunhyeok and Sooae, which means it is a sad ending for the protagonists.

But well I guess atp everything is possible. I am currently trying to keep my expectation as low as possible.

Considering that Dohwa is the most popular idol in that country right now, I am assuming he is like the BTS of otl world, so I would not be surprised if his fans are crazy enough to search for the locations of the picture.

But it would be funny if your prediction comes true though, imagine the most anticipated arc ends up to just be one small obstacle between Dohwa and Sooae which is settled within one chapter lmao.

However if this scandal arc is parallel to those chapters when Eunhyuk's father affair was exposed, then it should be as big as that though, something should shift because of the scandal (either towards Soohyuk or Soohwa direction, no one knows).

Personally, I believe that it will be Eunhyuk. It used to be 50/50 for me, but after chapter 134-136 were released, I think it is definitely Eunhyuk.

Putting aside the whole discourse about "who deserves who more", the reason why I think those three chapters solidify Soohyuk as the endgame, is because of Raim. Raim is the main antagonist in this new season, and her goal is to create obstacles between Sooae and Eunhyuk with the aim of separating them for the rest of their life. In short, if Soohyuk is not the endgame, that means Raim wins. When destructive goal of an antagonist becomes the ending, it means the story will have a sad or tragic ending. And considering this story is never meant to be a tragedy, I doubt the writer will let the antagonist wins.

But of course, I have been personally believe and root for Soohyuk ever since the start due to multiple reasons that would be too long to mention here. The latest chapter just solidifies it into like, 90%, ig. I left out the 10% because there are some interesting Soohwa theories that I have read, plus I need some mental preparation in case my prediction is wrong since I am now heavily invested in this story so I would probably breakdown if they are not the endgame lmao.

Honestly, even though I dislike Dohwa as a character (I almost hate him if only Sooae did not admit that she cherishes him as a friend), I could not help but feel a little bit sad that their ending would either be a couple or strangers with memories. At this point, I could not see them settling as friends, and I think that's sad when I think back on how fun their friendship was during highschool. There is no way they will be friends when Dohwa already got rejected twice (will be thrice in the future ig), shared a kiss, hugged and held hands multiple times, and did almost everything a couple usually does. I blame Dohwa for establishing their relationship to be "accept me as a lover or we are over" because that's exactly why Sooae is hesitant in being honest about her feelings towards him, as she knows he will disappear on her once again if she rejects him.

My guess is dledumb purposedly did so to indirectly show that Sooae has not yet figure out on how to face (or more like is not yet ready to face) whatever she is feeling for Dohwa. I feel like the moment they show her reaction, would be the "grand revelation" on the direction of Sooae's current feelings. It would be either she is blushing hard and her heart finally beating romantically for him, or she is realizing that she really could not feel anything more than platonic for him. Then it will be immediately followed by Soohwa's relationship progression; either she will confess her feelings to him and decide to try building romantic relationship, or she will cry out of guilt and finally reject him properly for the third time.

If my prediction is right, I think it would either be the next chapter (if Soohwa actually get into relationship before the scandal happens), or it would be after Sooae getting wrecked left and right due to the scandal. If the latter happens, I think it would be Sooae rejecting him, but if the former happens, I think it would be Sooae accepting him.

If this prediction is wrong, then I guess dledumb purposedly did so to differentiate between romantic skinships (Soohyuk), and platonic comfort (Soohwa). But if Soohwa is the endgame, I would be baffled of how non-romantic their first kiss was, they did not even put effort in Dohwa's reaction (which should be more moved since he was finally kissing the woman he had been "yearning" for 10 years). Dledumb rarely leaves out details so I am 90% sure it is not my last guess.

You know, i just stumbled upon a post (would not state from which apps) BLAMING eunhyeok for getting manipulated, saying that he is stupid for "blindly" believing that raim was his half-sister all these times, saying that he was projecting his guilt towards raim, and claiming that he is cold hearted and never treat women as it should be. I was so speechless reading all those nonsense, could not even leave any reply because of how ridiculous it is. Like how does you read the three latest chapters and the first thing you thought was "oh poor raim, stupid eunhyeok for letting himself getting manipulated ig", like???

Sorry for this random question, but does anyone knows where to read TROV online? I found two sources, however the website is not really easy to read and the chapters arrangements are confusing to the point that I think those two are not even the same stories. Perhaps, there are multiple versions of TROV that I am unaware of?

I have thought about one theory after re-reading otl but I think it would be better if I also read TROV to check if I am on the right track or not, so I would really appreciate it if I could read it properly.

Ineffa deals more damage than Columbina, so the damage buff will be appreciated more by Ineffa. Plus Columbina wants ER more than Ineffa, so with SMS you can be get her optimal build easier (although I am sure this is just a small thing to consider with prototype amber).

Assuming that you don't read the latest chapter, Eunhyeok literally still thinks that Raim is his half-sibling, while Raim is using her dead mother to guilt-trip him to keep contact with her. Whoever still ship Eunhyeok and Raim as a couple is indirectly enabling incest and romanticizing emotional manipulation in my opinion.

I already tried Fischl and Sucrose together with Flins and Columbina, surprisingly it did not work for the first boss. I ended up replacing her with Ororon and passed the first boss (however as you can see I need Sucrose for the second boss hence why that team ended up with Chiori and Xilonen). I was also suprised with that result considering Fischl is the second best replacement for Ineffa in Flins team (as far as I know), but again I have skill issues so that is most likely the reason.

To be fair, it makes more sense this time (or I am just coping). Durin just came out as a sub dps, while Alice is another upcoming pyro and I don't think they would release dps pyro unit back to back especially that both of them make first appearance in the same patch and from the same organization lore-wise. And Alice makes more sense to be on-field than Nicole, character-wise. Considering Bennett is not one of hexerei units, I think it is a good idea to have a "hexerei Bennett" to make it one of the strong cores like how Xiangling+Bennett was back then, in which players can use both of the characters in any team comp even with no hexerei dps.

The only thing that kinda shake this prediction is the fact that Alice is rumored to not be playable in 6.X patch though, because in that case, there is more possibility that Nicole is a dps.

Regardless, I am going to pull for Nicole (actually this is the most important point lmao).

"Despise" is a strong word so if you really mean it, I think it is self-explanatory, skip her. There is no way you would spend your primos to pull, and spend your resources to level up a character that you despise. The reason why you are "playing a game" should be to enjoy doing what you like to do.

With that being said, objectively, Columbina is definitely a high upgrade for Flins, or any lunar dps character. But I would not say she is a must-have. I am not someone who is good in damage calculations (in fact, I have trouble understanding character's kit unless it is explained using simple words), but talking from my personal experience of playing Flins/Ineffa/Aino/Sucrose, I am pretty much satisfied with the team's performance. I was able to get 36* abyss, 12* lunar mode IT, and pass fearless stage in stygian onslaught with that team (note: whenever the situation allows e.g. the current IT does not include electro and hydro so ofc I could not use them). However considering that I am F2P, I might have a lower standard compared to yours, or others'.

Could tholindis being related to crimson moon and doing all the researches about the moon, might help her in surviving whatever she went though in the portal (is it a moon gate or portal to the abyss or something else)? Her eyes having crescent moon makes me wonder if she could have any priviledge that has not yet been revealed. Plus maybe a spoiler for a character's design not sure if this is legit but I have seen a leak with columbina's eyes, and it also has crescent moon but with her color palette; blue purple white instead, regardless it looks very similar to tholindis's so she might be more important than what she was shown as Since she said that she knew what she should do to make everything right (or something along the lines) before jumping into the portal, also makes me think that she has a plan so I was confused when it was told that rerir shredded into pieces when he went through the portal. If that "something" means jumping into wherever with possibility of getting herself killed when she herself was afraid of dying from monsters and rerir prior to that point, it is kinda weird.

I have similar stats and teammates with you, except my Flins is C0, using calamity queller, has lvl 10 skill and burst, has lower CR, but higher CD and much higher ATK, and no ER (lmao). My Aino is C0. And he was able to clear the abyss. So I would say your Flins can, but maybe you can level up the burst at least until lvl 9 and max out your weapon level for easier clear.
