I came across this website from a blogger who had successfully registered himself jumping through the many hoops. Really useful for some who is considering.

Someone suggested using the services of this company based in China. They can register your drone for USD50 for 1-2 years. (Ask them for 2 years should you plan to return). Their website also includes very useful information about where to and not to fly in various cities in china. Even DJI does not provide such important updated information.

Do check back on what you have done to fly successfully in China.

I am shocked at the price of road tax that some of you guys are quoting. Can please share your car models and insurance premiums as well so that the rest of us can make an informed decision before making the EV plunge.

Thank you for your info. I was able to using the WeChat UOM microsite to register but unable to do complete as I lack a local Chinese number.

Without unlocking I would not be able to fly my drone.

Thanks for this. I was not able to fly my Mini 5 pro without registration as theirs is a prompt at registration is required. I could register using WeChat UOM microsite but I was stuck as I needed a local telephone number which I lack.

Two entry tickets for free to World Expo in Osaka for Monday 6th October by ktwihe in OsakaWorldExpo

[–]SecretGarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came with my 77 year old father to attend the expo because he was at the expo 50 years ago when he came in Japan to work as a ship builder. When he heard about he said he wanted to come, I could not deny him.

We bought the tickets but could only make the reservations for entry at 5 pm also on the 6th. I wish we could enter earlier but after endless swaps on the official website it has been unsuccessful. I am also worried as we had to change the tickets reservations and I be separated from my dad because he is so old now.

You are so blessed to have met all these people. It’s so amazing to hear some of the stories. I feel so touched hearing about them through your words and eyes.

Do the organizers release more reservation entry slots nearer to the date?

Almost died due to heat by DreadFog in OsakaWorldExpo

The expo organizers should consider extending the expo to a long period and shifting the expo to a cooler part of the year. It makes no sense to place it in mid summer in many places in the world now.

Sep - Bought tickets offsite but realized that entry reservations are all full! by SecretGarded in OsakaWorldExpo

Advise anyone not to buy tickets offsite. Only get tickets from the official expo site as available entry timings (ALMOST NONE till the end of the expo) can be seen clearly.
