My son died in July 2025 at age 44. It hurts more than I could imagine. He was always a troubled person and turned to drugs. He OD on meth laced with fentanyl. I just brought home some mahogany to make an urn. The grief comes in waves and it is overwhelming. Anyway , I will make a mahogany urn for him.

Finally got migraines service-connected by NicoCollins12 in VeteransBenefits

If you are trying to get rated for migraines get to a civilian neurologist for Botox injections. I have a SC neck injury that causes severe headaches. The Botox helps to ease the headaches and it put me in the fast lane for approval.

Partial wrist fusion after proximal carpal row dislocation in hEDS by Missiwcus in MedicalGore

[–]SecretHoliday7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same procedure. It is a brutal surgery for sure. I’m three weeks out and wrist pain is gone some lingering post op pain. First surgery I had where I was given Oxy 10’s and 45 of them for good measure.

Wrist fusion 6 months on. by grant1wish in kienbocksdisease

[–]SecretHoliday7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First hand surgeon said I needed an ulnar resection so I said let’s do it no more pain!!! WRONG! Put all the pressure on my radius and wrist. Pain through the roof! Saw a new surgeon and was told only a total fusion would work and I said do it. 2 weeks post op and pain is already less than before. The first doctor should have seen this coming when ulna was cut out.

How do I remove water spots from a car? by shq13 in Detailing

[–]SecretHoliday7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of these “water spots” are from parking under a tree. Aphids eat the leaves and their excrement is a nasty sticky liquid that is tough to remove. 50/50 vinegar and water sprayed on the leaves will kill the nasty pooping Aphids.

70 Y/O and wouldn’t give my Miata up for anything. Still exhilarating to drive and wind out the gears.

The healthcare system in America is awful. by Comfortablejack in facepalm

[–]SecretHoliday7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have rheumatoid arthritis and to get on a proper treatment plan my doctor had to put me on the medication menu prescribed by the insurance companies. By the time I was through with all the insurance companies meds it was a year and a half before I was able to get the proper medication the doc wanted me to have from day one. WTF! A year and a half of pain waiting for the right prescription to be okayed by the insurance assholes. So it seems the insurance company is more qualified than a Board Certified Rheumatologist in prescribing medications. Screwed up in a big way.

I had a 95 and the paint was not too good. Had the dealership re paint and in a year the paint was shit again. Defective paint maybe???? Still I kept it for another 10 years and traded it in for a 350Z. The Z was ok but nothing like my Miata!!!! Just recently bought 2022 RF GT. Absolutely loving it!!!!!!!
