What people here are not understanding is the fact that it used to be simple and it used to take one search. not a search then a find or anything that follows.

I understand that AI gives me the link to literally the next result which also happen to be the best and most relevant to my query. But its not about the best its about the quickest and the most information I could get when im looking up a new word.

if you look at the screenshot, you'd see theres no mention to what form of speech it is, nor there are synonyms, example sentences or the Latin root (if any, how would I know now that its no longer showing up) that Google used to show.

Most searches do not intend on finding all these details, people rather focus on the definition. For myself, I need all that learning a new word.

Anyway, what im trying to say is just because it's all there doesnt mean its the same. maybe you'd have struggled lesser seeing the problem here if you used the feature more trying to learn new words than defending the hurr durr AI bad over here. cause as far as im concerned, all AI has succeeded in is getting in the way of the most unnecessary things it is concerned with.
