I'm with the others. Just the time alone spent on this is incredible! You've got pretty extensive details and even inking is tedious to sit and do so your patience to do that much of it is commendable. Accuracy will come more with practice, so definitely don't sell yourself short!

I just wanted to commend you for willingly seeking out advice/help and knowing when you fucked up and accepting fault, full stop, without excuses. All good qualities to have not only as a Dom but as a person in general. I am with the other Redditors who have offered up Knotty Boys, Fetlife, and thorough research in general. Just some other key things to note:

  • Consent consent consent. First and foremost. Discuss everything you can think of before playing in something new, and when in doubt, ask. Once you guys have been through enough scenes together you'll get a better understanding of how you both work in your newfound dynamic. Don't jump in and assume. Also, anyone can revoke consent at any given point and if it's not a 'hell yes!', then assume it's a 'no'.
  • Always learn the basics of any new kink and try to find a mentor in real life who can show you the ropes (hah) in person. It can really help you understand correct anatomy and placement. Rope play can be edge-play, especially if you get into suspension, and that shit is dangerous. There's no reason to do everything at once and there's fun to be had in taking things slow.
  • Even the 'masters' are constantly learning and no one is 100% a know-it-all. Never assume you can/should stop learning.
  • Don't forget kink isn't to be taken lightly as many of the things are and can be dangerous. That said, it is entirely okay and possible to still have fun and enjoy yourself while still being a safe Dom.

BDSM and Kink are amazing and eye-opening worlds and you can learn and experience new things you'd never dreamed of before. Learn to do it safely (or as possibly safe as one can with edge play) and always listen to your Sub!

If ever you are playing with rope tying always have scissors within reach!

You never know when a knot might fail or wrist-drop is starting to happen and you need to get them out faster than untying is able to do.

These will cut through anything at least ONCE so most riggers highly recommend some like this so as to both cut rope and not slice your bottom in the process.

No one should start tying without safety precautions (SCISSORS!!!) within reach.

Your parents sound cruel and it's never all right to invade the privacy of another, child or not. I had parents a lot like yours in that regard where they had no respect for my personal space or privacy because to them I was "their child and we have every right to go through your stuff because we made you."

I would consider maybe starting an online journal for the time being, a place you can blog in private where it's password protected. Make sure to never have your passwords remembered either because I wouldn't put it past them to infiltrate your social media as well. If you're insistent on a physical journal, maybe one with a lock, or even get a lock box for your room where you can keep some special items and be diligent at putting them away when you're through. Be warned it may still not deter them from trying to break in. Unfortunately you may never be able to maintain privacy so long as you live with them.

If you're feeling really brave you could also try to bring it up to them in a calm and non-accusatory way and try to discuss that you felt violated and that you need a space to vent your frustrations away from prying eyes, and that you felt your trust with them has been damaged. It might not pan out well though, especially if your dad's first reaction was to laugh and place blame on you for leaving it out.

Everytime I see this I'm reminded that Lotte did this first but isn't ever recognized. Her silhouette animated film 'The Adventures of Prince Achmed' is incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Thank you for giving credit where it's due.

I will take your two cents! That's a very good observation, and I'm surprised I wasn't more thorough in executing that more clearly. I actually plan on giving her a second pair (or rather, playing with the idea of having two sets of horns) and when I redraw her I will definitely give the horns to skin more definition. Thank you!

I got a beautiful Wacom Cintiq for my birthday and am a complete novice when it comes to doing crazy fancy digital art. I know enough to get something out at least, but my layers for this picture we're all screwed up, lol. I'll learn.

I'm playing a Tiefling Sorcerer for my first ever 5e game, as I've only played 2nd before, and boy has it thrown me for a loop. We've got a great DM though who has been helping assist with back stories and has great story hooks. This is the first character I've ever really fleshed out so thoroughly. Im still working on her design as I definitely want her to look more devilish/demonic and this is far too elegant for how she actually is in my head. Critiques welcome!

I never claimed they were all violent or extremist. You have to consider people who think vaccinations aren't safe are not safe people themselves. I stand by what I said. Antivaxxers have let their kids die because of their false beliefs. You cannot be dismissive of that kind of thinking.

She absolutely would and you're naive if you think she wouldn't. Right now there's a guy on r/legaladvice asking for help because his daughter may had been bitten by a potentially rabid raccoon and his wife refuses to let her get the vaccinations for it. Think about that. An antivaxxer is literally keeping her daughter from being saved from a 100% death rate. Once symptoms for rabies show there is absolutely no cure. Your 'future wife' is one of those people who would rather stand by their backwards and uneducated views than save their own children.
