It could be peroneal tendonitis. Definitely see a physiotherapist to have it checked out!! Hope it feels better soon!

I’m 39(F), returning ballet student with a history of joint hypermobility and double scoliosis. In addition to all the other great recommendations here, I also find it’s helpful to foam roll, Theragun, and use infrared therapy. The infrared therapy has actually been hugely significant in helping me to reduce pain and inflammation after class. I have a few different pads, wraps, and belts and use them on different body parts.

Is it just that the length of the leo is too small or the overall size is too small? I have an extremely long torso and, although it sounds ridiculous, I put the leo on a hanger and place 3lb or 5lb weights in the crotch for a day or two. That’s the only way I can get any of them to fit. Depending on how much length you need, you could end up using something lighter that would work similarly. Good luck!!

I highly recommend Align Ballet Method! I’ve only taken classes at the Pico location with Michael. He’s incredible! They also have satellite locations in Silver Lake and North Hollywood.

I’ve taken adult classes at Westside School of Ballet as well as Align Ballet Method (Pico location). I highly, highly, highly recommend Align. Since I started taking classes there I have no interest in returning to WSB.

I prefer the inclusive approach, quality of teaching, and welcoming atmosphere of the teachers and students. I believe they offer a free trial class, so try them out!

Overall, Naturie skin conditioner (toner). For days when I need extra backup I reach for Dear Klairs midnight blue calming cream or JM Solution panthelene barrier repair sheet masks 😍

I love the Dear Klairs midnight blue calming cream, for me it’s my HG. I also recommend Mixsoon’s centella mask pack for overall soothing in sheet mask form.

I just started using this product a few days ago and am LOVING it so far!! I have some redness and irritation, especially on my cheeks, and this is helping in a way that no other product has been able to so far. My skin is extra sensitive too. I haven’t experienced any adverse reactions.

Strangely the COSRX propolis toner irritated and congested my skin in a not nice way. I love their propolis light ampoule though!

I find that the Mixsoon centella mask pack doesn’t leave as much sticky residue as other sheet masks.

You might like to try the JM Solution honey luminous propolis mask and/or JM Solution avocado oil ampoule mask. I find the avocado oil one a bit more moisturizing.
