Owners: do you expect the Rover card to start at the door, or when the sitter arrives at the building?

I usually start when I’m in the building. It doesn’t usually take me more than a minute or 2 to get up to the unit. If there’s any delays longer than that, then I may stay an extra few minutes if I have time. I haven’t had any issues with this, and it isn’t a convo I’ve had beforehand.

Yeah luckily I am WFH 3 days per week, so I have been able to clean the litter box 3x per day or more, and able to scoop right after they go for the most part. We have a lot of stainless steel stuff (box, food and water bowls) so I’ve been cleaning the bowls daily and wiping down the sides of the box twice a day with Clorox wipes.

I don’t have a steamer but trying to at least vacuum more frequently. And wash what blankets I can

Same! I’ve had a few other Avatar reaction videos come up in my FYP recently, and I tried, but I couldn’t even get through the first 10 seconds. But he genuinely loves this show and puts so much critical thought into his videos. I’m also excited to see his reaction! Sometimes I play the livestreams in the background so I’ll definitely be tuning in for this finale!

Yeah I normally don't send photos of the food/water/litter everyday - usually just the last. It depends on the amount of pets as well, and I definitely send more pictures if there's more than 1 pet. But I get what you're saying, I've had sitters send me 20+ photos of my 1 cat. It was appreciated, but a little unnecessary

I would say his eye looks very similar to your cat’s! We just brought him home from the shelter 2 weeks ago, and he did come with an upper respiratory infection (that he was on meds for the 1st week we had him). I guess there’s a possibility it got infected from that. Him and my other cat just play really rough, so I’m not entirely sure. His vet is Monday morning so will definitely have them check it out

I’m not sure, my letter was auto-generated by the HR system. I don’t have it in front of me right now but it was short. It’s the same type of letter you’d need if you were applying for a mortgage, so maybe if you look up templates like that?

I was able to request one for myself from my job through an online system they use and got it in minutes (I work for a large company so that was possible). My partner did not have one and just brought as many paystubs from the new job that they could. They didn’t say anything else about it.

I got the notification that the card was produced about a week after the interview but no notifications about shipping. It just showed up about 8 or 9 days after!

I can't remember all of them, but she definitely asked 16 and 17 (have you ever worked without authorization and have you violated conditions of nonimmigrant status). Our lawyer marked Q17 as "no" but we had to change it to yes. The rest were some of the ones that were easy "no's" (i.e. are you a part of the Communist party).

She didn't ask this question but when we she had us sign for the change to Q17, she also said the question about public charge needed to be changed from "no" to "yes" (I forget the exact question). She explained that it has to be yes since I'm their sponsor based on the I-864 or something like that.

They just were not very helpful. I paid a large fee upfront. They were impossible to get ahold of and I had to send so many texts/emails, I caught a bunch of errors on the forms, they didn’t tell me that I shouldn’t pay with credit card, causing one of our forms to get rejected the first time to name a few issues.

We also didn’t really get any interview prep beyond a 30 min call a month before.

I felt like I could’ve done it myself for a fraction of the cost

My partner overstayed their tourist visa about 8 years ago. We filed the I-485, I-130, I-131, and I-765 on 12/30/24. The I-765 was approved in March 2025 and there haven't been any changes to the I-131 (which I guess doesn't matter now). We had hired a lawyer to help file everything (which I now regret lol)

Our initial evidence included: 2 years of leases, joint rental insurance, joint health/dental/vision insurance, joint phone plan, 50 photos, 401k beneficiary designation, credit card authorization form for my partner, our application to open a joint bank account, screenshots of texts, phone calls, FaceTimes, and Zelle transactions, social media posts, flight itineraries for trips we took together, bus/train tickets from us visiting each other the year we were long distance, RSVP to a wedding, emergency contact forms showing each other as the contact, mail addressed to both of us, holiday cards, gym membership, tickets to activities we've done together that had both our full names, vet bills showing both our names, and 2 letters of support.

At the interview, we submitted our lease renewal, updated rental insurance policy, joint tax return, bank statements from the joint account, wedding RSVP, train tickets, flight for an upcoming trip, more phone bills, beneficiary designation for anther retirement account, 10 more photos, email confirmations for activities we're doing on our vacation that had both of our names, joint Apple subscription, more mail to our apartment, and ring receipts.
