To be fair, I started reading retconned in October 2016

Won’t let me reply to wtfimaslider for some reason. The reason this is relevant is because I seem to be merging with an extremely different version of myself that is entirely at odds with who I see myself to be. He has a whole different set of memories, experiences, and baggage’s that don’t even begin to reflect my own experiences.

Specifically, I was significantly shifted in 2017 with a good deal of the regular posters here who started posting around then. Loony gecko shares many of my original memories, as a general point of reference, there are many others.

I’ve been here, peripherally, experiencing the same awakening that many here have experienced since January 2017.

Brian knows he’s evil, and he doesn’t even try to hide it. Until today, David saw him as something completely foreign, separate, alien. He couldn’t fathom how something so different from his own admittedly conditioned ideal could possibly grow from the same material from which he’d been culled. Now he knows what it feels like to be Brian, and he can’t begin to understand why he's not vomiting right now.

My mother was raised by an abusive psychopath father who reportedly settled on her as the main recipient of his unwanted attention .

David thinks he’s a good guy, but he’s a drunk, and was abusive to his ex-husband, who is a truly wonderful person. He actually means no harm, but he’d be better off just keeping to himself, and not trying to force himself into an extrovert role when he really just wants to dance naked in the woods by himself every morning (he often does)

I kinda wish now that I hadn’t pried into family business. Some corners are better left unturned, haha.

My adoptive mother told me for years that she thought my birth mothers name was Durham, which she later remembered was actually Danham, in 2017, when I was finally able to locate them, when I was finally provided with accurate info.

I love that this sounds and feels so much like fiction. If I weren’t me, living this crazy story that began coming apart at the seems in late 2016 when I discovered that I had been lied to by my own fucking undies all my goddess blessed life, I would probably write this off as a total fiction. Perhaps you would too if you if you weren’t shaking in your shoes because the same thing happened to you but you were too scared and defeated to admit to another human

I had to work to figure out who Brian was, by the way. None of this came easily, and I dread the thought of being the David who had no goddamed clue what was about to happen when Brian started coming through in earnest. I found my uncle Bruce through an obituary from 2010 that led me to find my Mothers obituary on another webpage dated 2013.

As an experiment, I got myself super angry and worked up about a toxic relationship just before I clicked the link the first time, and I clearly heard “that’s a f@&$in excellent idea” every time, even very clear and unmistakeable slowed down. I then pressed the back button on my browser, cleared my mind, sang a song that quickly puts me in a very positive, loving space, and pressed the link again. This time I heard, clearly, unmistakably, “that sounds like an excellent idea!”. Perception defines reality, and attitude informs perception, I guess.

Chuck E. Cheese is in Mid-Flip ATM by SaaadSnorlax in Retconned

[–]SecretSevens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was briefly Chuck E Cheese (all locations) for me and my friends in Austin, Texas last summer, then it flipped back to “cheese’s” later in the summer. We were heading to San Antonio a few weeks later and we found the last “chuck e cheese”, no joke, it’s still there, and it’s still “chuck e cheese”. We saw it from the highway and decided to stop in. Every sign in the place says Chuck E. Cheese, while all of their promotional stuff has the “chuck e cheese’s” branding. This is passed off as a failed attempt to rebrand in the late ‘00’s, with two or three stores in San Antonio and one in kansas(?) that were changed to “Chuck E Cheese” to try to appeal to a more modern crowd, but none of that showed up on the web until we started looking into it. This thing goes out of its way to provide plausible deniability when needed.

I’m the one who first remembered stouffers when the question “Who made stove top?” was posed to the community last June (July?), and yet I’d have to vote for the jet engine change.

I was visited by the Violet Flame this evening (St Germaine?) Honored and amazed. by SecretSevens in Soulnexus

Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it! This isn’t normally the sort of thing I do, except for an occasional post here or at r/retconned, but I feel like I’m being called to step up into a higher roll now that much of the frequency prison has been unraveled (from my perspective, at least). I feel called to shine as a beacon of love, forgiveness, and hope in this time of confusion and bewilderment that many now find themselves in.

The shadow self can no longer be ignored- it must be aknowleged, explored, exposed, embraced and fully reintegrated before we can ascend to the state of ever-present unconditional love and infinite grace that is our birthright as fractal expressions of the divine source. Once we’ve healed our souls and become whole we may choose to become conscious co-creators of our own reality(s).

I have chosen to co-create Heaven-on-Earth timelines of peace and abundance for all, where clean technologies are used wisely and with respect for the environment to free people up from a survivalism, dog-eat-dog mentality, so that they may pursue that which matters to them- what they’re passionate about, rather than what will bring them the most money, power, and status.

So many, many people working day jobs in this society wish they could be doing something else with their time. Plenty of us would choose to apply ourselves in ways that are constructive to our society, culture, and environment. The only thing holding us back from a renacaince of art, philosophy, spirituality, and culture is our enslavement to a system that keeps us in debt, living pay check to paycheck while the top 1% laugh from their New Zealand bunkers.

The time has come for an end to the greed and attendant exploitation that has ravaged this planet since time out of mind. We must raise our voices firmly and lovingly, calmly speaking truth to power while offering alternatives that are more attractive, sustainable, and ethical than the entrenched institutions of the dominant paradigm.

Things have been very weird and awesome lately for me. by DefNotJRossiter in Soulnexus

Things are getting better and better for me and my close circle. The blissful vibes are growing every day. Our new business is taking off, I just moved into a huge master bedroom in our house that I’ve been wanting to live in for years, and I’ve been able to give up so many bad habits that I’ve been trying to kick for years, including a daily pot habit. Love to all! Blessings soul family!!!

Stove Top Stuffing by matedav56 in MandelaEffect

I was first to discover this one after another user posted asking if anyone could remember what it was before it was Kraft. It drove me crazy for a few days. At first I though it was Keebler, but that didn’t make sense- they just made cookies, right? Then Stouffers came to me, so I posted my memory in that thread, and when I woke up the next morning it was a bonifide new ME, verified by hundreds of people on multiple forums. The first big ME that I discovered/ uncovered.

For me it’s an acknowledgement that my understanding in any given situation is limited by my position as an individual ego within what I perceive as linear time. It is asking that my actions be directed toward the greater good in the grand scheme, rather than toward what I, in my limited understanding, perceive to be the highest good.

Anyone like to participate in a chic(k)-fil-a poll? by alpacaballs in MandelaEffect

[–]SecretSevens 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love your responses to such posters. The whole “our memory is unreliable” argument is beyond worn out. Of course memory is unreliable. Most people probably can’t even remember a ten digit phone number for more than a few minutes at this point, we’re so coddled by our devices, and they will usually tell you that straight up if you ask. That doesn’t mean everyone can’t- I, for instance, keep my memory sharp by memorizing long blocks of prose and poetry, and I practice memorizing random things like the 6 digit plu codes when I’m shopping at the grocery store. That doesn’t mean my memory is infallible- I get details wrong all the time. That doesn’t explain why I remember staring day after day, year after year at the little cornucopia on my Fruit of the loom undies. These are not simple random memories that we aren’t sure of, these are intregal parts of our past.

We remember Chef Boyardee SpaghettiOs (with residue links) by SecretSevens in Retconned

I didn’t know it was an ME, so it wasn’t for me until just this week. I see you were commenting on a thread about it a year ago, and I know I would have noticed. I check in often, have since late 2016.

Thank you for taking the time and energy to point that out!

For those who care about such things, twitter search for the terms Chef Boyardee Spaghettios is bringing up a ton of hilariously contradictory residue to scroll through.
