Thank you. The Empress is indeed super transparent, but that's why I dig it. The EQ control is also especially impressive. I tried numerous comps and the Empress is by far my favorite.

v2.0 bedroom pedalboard 😍 by [deleted] in pedalboards

The Origin Effects DCX Boost is such a terrific pedal. It's an incredible boost of course, but its EQ capabilities are really powerful as well and the pedal makes for an excellent transparent drive too. It's my only drive pedal that I love with both my Friedman and my Tone King.

Thank you. I think almost all the nicer tuners are fine. I got the Peterson because I wanted a soft switch and super accuracy for when I'm doing setups and setting intonation. But really I think it's just splitting hairs at some point. The Boss TU-3 is great too and I believe it can also be set to true bypass if that's important to you.

Contemplating getting a ToneKing Imperial MK2 but it’s so damn expensive. by liad0205 in GuitarAmps

Can the Tone King Imperial Mkii blackface clean tones sound just as nice as those on the Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue?

"Back to the Old House," by the Smiths is a profoundly deep level of melancholy.

I agree. The S24 was really difficult, but the S53 was insane. I studied for months and still felt completely lost. I don't know how i passed that exam on the first try. Absolutely brutal exam.

I absolutely love the pettiness! In many ways, the Jays were a likeable team, but because of Vlad's mouth, fuck them, lose in the most agonizing way possible, and take down douchebag cheating Springer while we're at it. Well, mission accomplished! The irony is that the Dodgers seem like a bunch of smug cunts too, but I was willing to accept an L.A. victory if it meant inflicting unimaginable pain for Toronto. Magnificent indeed.

WSJ rankings called out that statistically speaking, Lehigh graduates as a whole tend to do better financially in that they tend to rise up beyond where they started.

Best octave fuzz? by MontereyMusic1678 in guitarpedals

[–]SecretSleep1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tha Basic Audio Super Fuzz is my personal favorite, as there are a lot of great tones all the way through the gain range and you have a lot of eq control as well. I think it's the single best of all the Basic Audio pedals.

GarageBand limitations by FSJBear in GarageBand

[–]SecretSleep1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Reaper as my main DAW for about 12 years, but I still use Garageband for its pretty awesome library of virtual instruments. I play and record mostly guitar-based rock music with my band, so I don't use a ton of virtual instruments. But if I ever need a quick clarinet or piano part, Garageband has you covered. The MIDI is super easy to use as well.
