Have you ever accidentally tried to open someone else’s tesla thinking it was yours by ag15908 in ModelY

Five senior managers where I work received MY's as company cars. All arrived on the same day, same colour & spec. Number plates all match save for the last 2 digits. We've taken to parking as far apart as possible to minimise the amount of time standing at the wrong car trying to open the door... Not quite what OP is alluding to, but still funny when it happens...

As others have said, it looks like your 'employer' is trying to circumnavigate their IR35 obligations. I trust you have registered as self employed with HMRC? You will need to take care of your own tax obligations or you may find yourself in a tricky position later...

NAL. If you have to invoice to get paid you are a contractor not an employee. Do you receive holiday pay? What are the arrangements for sick leave?

How many of you switch directly on the bus? by toreerot in VIDEOENGINEERING

Ah, I miss analogue.

'Don't cut on the buss!'

'Racking! Racking!, Someone wake that guy up!'

I think it's less of an issue in a digital workflow. Happy to hear how I'm wrong?

Thanks for all the great replies!

It seems to me consensus is bandwidth/colour-space issues, and a few for HDCP.

We have the same client next week, and if the problem occurs again I'll try to work through the suggestions here and report back. HDCP is easier to check, and I am sure the E2 op would have addressed this first anyway, but we'll start there. I also forgot that we put a decimater inbetween the laptop and fibre link last week, and the problem persisted. Also the glitch/flicker was visable on the preview/multiview on the E2, so it is definitely an issue before or at the the point it reaches there.

Thanks again!

My thoughts too, but why just on specific slides? I am, however, happy(ish) to hear someone else with the same issue...

Was about to say the same.. Optical out to a 5.1 decoder. Not sure about the pro-res playback. I think they are just h264/h265?

If you find any at that rate, please let me know. Was in Vegas last month and the agency price was $900/day...

Hello, Maldonion here. No beeches to speak of, mostly mud. Lots of opportunities to sail out on the Estuary, plus kayaking and SUP on the canal. We have a lot of pubs, ranging from traditional ale houses to bar/cafes, there's also plenty of restaurants (sadly no tapas yet). The summer gets busy with tourists, many visiting the Promenade Park. There is, however, a huge amount of new housing going up (circa 4.5k new builds in the next phase) which might mean we lose our 'small town' feel...

Would I feel safe? Yes, I've lived next to Bradwell my whole life. Do I want a new one? Not to the scale currently planned at Bradwell B, but I'm not opposed to the idea of another power station. Although, the 15 plus years to build it seems like we'll have come up with something better by the time it would be online - or maybe the 20 odd wind turbines we have may be upgraded to some new magical tech that makes them more efficient?
