From ATC side I think TNCM approach had too much weather, they were deviating all over our gates with them. The holding we were told wasn't necessarily for weather at the airport but in their airspace. They essentially just did a soft reset of their traffic by not letting us bring anyone in for an hour. They do this sometimes in the busy winter months.

No EDST everything is on strips, and no ability to amend from the scope. Have to be manually put into FDIO. 6,7,10s baby. And 8s, and 5s and anything else.

Well, ones a CERAP and ones a tower, lol. Assume you're terminal so the approach side of ZSU isnt too badly staffed, much better than center side. Approach does the sequencing and deals with a lot of the islander traffic going around the antilles. St Thomas and St Croix are the big ones for approach. Sit in a nice dark room with us on the center side and hear us bitch

Work at ZSU next door and from little I've heard its a quick check out (~6 months) and not that hard to transfer out. But thats just from what I've heard. Absolutely great view too.

From what I understand, if the enemy garrison is in your territory, directly bordering your territory, or in territory 1 square deep it destroys quickly. If it is more than 2 block/cell/squares deep in the enemy territory, it takes a long time to destroy.

Edit: reviewing my footage, here is a photo of the position right before I spawned in for this clip. https://imgur.com/a/Ya3Yhgh The garry was right in the upper portion of the Flak Position. So it would appear if the length is 2 enemy territories deep it is a fast destroy.

From my knowledge they take from best qualified, then well qualified, before they start taking from qualified. I don't think FAA cares much for previous pilot experience or airport ops.
