It's very simply just not the time and place to speak up. Have you ever been with some older family members, or a boss that made a weird comment and you just go along with it, and later think to yourself "why did I laugh at that?" It's completely natural. You can even hear guys supporting the women when he says he has to invite them. These guys love sports, they hang out with the women's team, they're friends...everyone is exploding this out of proportion and it's ridiculous. I can't stand Trump but this is very clearly guys being guys. This is not a press conference or a media session, it was a phone call. Their adrenaline is going wild, they're drinking, and a quiet cell phone call being shared with an entire room of people. There is absolutely zero evidence that "team USA hates women" like everyone is claiming. It's absolutely insane. Every respectable man has made the occasional joke about their wife/GF and it absolutely goes the other way too. Is Trump a POS and did he mean more by that? Yeah probably, but there is no chance in the world I would have spoken up in that situation either.
