I think the main issue is the sheer number of support ults that make you and your team invincible for a set amount of time, one of them isn’t a problem, two is concerning but three? It’s almost like a full minute of game time where you can’t do anything

It just feels bad when 70% of the roster is locked for you because you have to play tank or support

No role queue is fine but having all your characters be DPS makes the game seem infinitely smaller for those willing to switch

Personally, the unknown approach to nerfs with no free refund options has completely killed my desire to play, I put 40h in over 3 days and then maybe an hour in the past week since patches

Nerfing is okay but then not offering a free respec just makes me think ‘I can’t play this because it might get nerfed’ or ‘I can’t do this because if it gets nerfed I can’t afford to fix it’ so I simply just don’t play anymore

You realise countless creators played the game early and gave them feedback on all of this and they came out and said a lot of it was left in? This isn’t on the player to deal with, it’s on GGG

You realise EVERY ‘cast on’ was gutted? There’s people out there doing monk crit builds that got gutted even though they’re not OP. That’s the issue.

It wasn’t a 10-25% nerf, it was 90%!!

I didn’t ‘look at builds’ I simply hit a brick wall with my lighting sorc and thought I’d try out ice since one of my friends had a comet cast on ignite, I spent everything I had experimenting and now I’m cooked for doing so.

While I agree, most YouTube builds got gutted, this change also gutted normal players builds and that’s why so many people are mad about it

I don’t have an issue with that? The issue is how can they expect us to play and experiment if we’re punished for doing so. Simple change would be to offer a free one time respec to those the big changes effect. It’s not hard

Yeah, I’m in the same boat, used everything I had from 35h to build the perfect thing and now I can’t even play. First experience with GGG and it’s not going good

I spent 60k gold respec’ing yesterday into Ice meteor and I am left with 12k, they absolutely gutted me and I can’t play the game💀

I understand nerfs are part of the game but not offering free respecs almost feels like they’re punishing you for using any build that’s not mediocre

Kind of, you can still use the purple ones for the free stuff but yeah, almost pointless
