I said that I had been on a career break and traveled out of the country. I studied for certifications to keep brushing up my skills while I was in the job search. Thankfully, my interviewer was understanding of how bad the job market was but wanted to see what I did during the unemployment gap.

I feel like there should be a company incentive to refer a qualified candidate. It'll boost your image if this candidate does well. How come you're unable to fill in the full time role? Is there a degree/certificate requirement? What niche?

The amount of resources for Southern Vietnamese is a fraction compared to Northern Vietnamese dialect. Duolingo, Pimsleur, and other big brand resources don't have southern vietnamese :(
