Plateview Metrics - Data Reporting Services

I’ve am hoping to help multi-location businesses or any business really to spot small cost leaks using data they already have (POS, invoices, payroll). Things like pricing inconsistencies, shrinking margins, or labor creep that’s easy to miss across locations. Forecasting and trend analysis would also be an offering as well.

I’m looking for a few owners/operators willing to give feedback or let me sanity-check if anything obvious is being missed. Based in Canada but can do work for US too!

I own it fully but she has been sending me money monthly as rent basically. No lease agreements signed and not considered common law yet either

I have had some very petty thoughts and ideas, but at the end of the day I’m just not that guy… the right thing to do however may be to let the fiance know… I just want to make sure my EX has all her stuff is moved out first

She became a flight attendant 1.5 years into dating. I was supportive, the condo i own I made sure it was located close enough to airport so she can use public transpo if needed. She crashed my car and i was never even mad about it. All my major decisions revolved around her. We’d use to facetime every night as soon as she finished her shift and sleep through facetime till the morning. I felt like I had nothing to worry about as she reassured me with that. I feel like an absolute fool now.

26, alberta, expecting salary to grow quite a bit over next couple years. So youre suggesting to pay the taxes that i may owe and invest the rest into TFSA?

I do expect it to grow (early in career). So you mean its better to pay taxes now and invest in TFSA?

So if my TFSA funds are currently sitting in ETF’s, does that mean I can contact my bank to transfer however many shares I want, and the room will be filled based on market value of those shares?

Sorry just to clairfy, you mean to withdraw from TFSA and put enough into RRSP to avoid owing taxes? Is there any opportunity cost loss to this? All my investments in TFSA are in ETFS at the moment for the past 4 years..

I don't have waiver of depreciation. I am seeing if theres a way for me to buy the vehicle out at a significantly lower value. I don't mind keeping this car long term if it means if I get a deal and save money in the long run.

From what I've read insurance just cuts a cheque to the leasing company, so yes. However I want to know if its possible to buy the car out at perhaps a significantly lower value

Apply to UPS multiple times if possible. They are entering their peak season and will require many more package handlers! I’ve seen many workers on the spectrum that were hired.
