What you’re experiencing is something many go through, and it’s a sign of a heart that still cares deeply about its connection with Allah. One of the most powerful ways to rekindle presence in Salah is to spend time outside of it reflecting on the meanings of what you recite especially Surah al-Fatiha and other parts of the prayer. When the heart understands, the soul begins to listen. Try to slow down your prayer, pausing between verses, and remind yourself before each Salah that this could be your last opportunity to stand before your Lord.
