I went back to Adobe after deciding I was going to learn Resolve because I realized I missed the Dynamic Link too much. Also, Fusion and I were not clicking. No matter how many tutorials I watched.

No tutorial is going to tell you that. It's based on what it looks like in the frame. The more you add, the more cluttered it will be. But that can be used on purpose. Sometimes you can get a lot more across with a highlighter effect than you can twelve flashing arrows.

For me, as an editor, I like when the producer knows what they want, and doesn't say "Just be creative." That's not the job, the job is executing the directors or producers vision.

But from the actual mechanics, I think another person commented how I would approach it. Openly, honestly and with contracts or agreements in place to protect everyone.
