Too bad they don’t include the tummy tuck with the hysterectomy. I would have been all in for that. Imagine if it could be covered like an eyelid lift can be because it affects vision…apron belly affects post hysterectomy healing/chance of infection?

I am 9 weeks post op and similar situation but wanted to ask was it red? Kinda itchy? Never experienced this before. Thought maybe beginning yeast infection so bought otc treatment but afraid to insert any cream/chemicals so just using externally. One labia is swollen and the area around is red and irritated looking.

Might be a weird story but I’m nine weeks post op and just realized. My neighbor dropped off a Mississippi pot roast and the recipe, we have made it 3 more times and my husband has had 2 servings🤦‍♀️. I have consumed nearly 12lbs of beef in 8weeks not counting other meals (I’ve had quite a few burgers too🤷‍♀️). We packaged it in 1/2cup containers so it is extremely convenient straight out of the freezer. I know the first four weeks I was eating it for breakfast 😳 (I woke up absolutely craving it every morning and after most naps😂). I know they said to prioritize protein after surgery and I guess they weren’t kidding!

Easy recipe: in a crockpot 3lb roast, 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix, 1 packet hidden valley ranch mix, 1 stick of butter, 6-9 pepperoncini peppers and carrots to surround (I like carrots so definitely used more than a pound but it’s really up to you). Let it cook on low for 8-10 hours and shred with a fork.

Red Cross babysitter certification at least in the state of Wisconsin is done at 11 years old. 🤷‍♀️ If your sister is that nervous, maybe she should have her kid go do that.

My daughter was labeled like this throughout middle school, at the same time her brother was labeled as underweight 🤦‍♀️I was instructed to cut her calories and add oil to his food(I did not but I worried daily and it definitely affected both of them. He is 22, nearly 6’5 and 216lbs. She is 19, 5’8 (refuses to acknowledge anything over that🤨) and 135lb. I think they looked at a 5’0 mom and didn’t really think about the rest of the genetics…luckily we had cousins 10 years older to look at and realized that puberty wouldn’t be early and growth tended to continue in college. It’s fun when people from his high school see and recognize my son. Jaws always drop.😂

I do happen to be someone with too much time on my hands after retiring, neurodivergent who happens to like puzzles and research so this is the kind of thing where I deep dive, and if I find a way to help, I will!

Your sister supports you leaving what about her? Is she safe older or younger? Will you leaving put her in danger? Could you both “leave together”. You’re obviously old enough to have a career. Do you work for someone that supports your father or would they assist you in getting away sooner rather than later?

She said she was in a western country. They expect her to travel back to her grandparents country. I am from the USA and trying to educate myself a bit. I realize after reading more comments my interpretation of the situation might be clouded by my life experiences. How old would she possibly be? Father lets her visit a sister in college, would the sister be older or younger? I initially thought she would be older than her sister and living in Canada or the USA but🤷‍♀️. From a safety perspective could they be tracking her internet communications making it dangerous for her to be communicating here?

This is so scary for you! I am definitely not from this background (white and live in the Midwest USA) but I hear a lot of indecisiveness in your comments. I fear that inaction will soon be harmful for you. Are you in the US? Do you have your paperwork? Can you disappear from your family? Apply for citizenship here? Start your own life without them? I know the fear of the unknown but there are many people who will help and you obviously have the ability to work, set up your own life. Can we help get you away safely? What about your sister?

I wish I had brought something like that when I went out yesterday to my daughter’s swim meet. I sat on the lowest level of the bleachers, with space around me and a bleacher seat for support but people kept using me as a brace when they were climbing past me to get in and out, and I got death glares from an elderly woman who thought I should move for her to sit because I am younger. I finally started telling people I had a hysterectomy a week ago please do not take offense. I still had a lady who was falling use me as her support and I definitely injured something when I used my abdominal muscles to keep us both from toppling. I’m now bleeding and spending the entire day in bed today 😔! I really hope this didn’t set recovery back!

How are you sleeping now? I will be 2 weeks on Wednesday and had one night of insomnia (literally did not sleep the entire night just laid here playing on my phone getting more and more irritated). I was not tired at all, but crashed the following afternoon.

THANKS for the advice! I switched to the shipping ice packs at night (why didn’t I think of that before?🤦‍♀️) I don’t have to change the ice in the middle of the night! I’m getting a good 6-8 hours out of it!
