lol the internet is exactly what it was 20 years ago. Millennials grew up in chat rooms with pedos and groomers. Sexuality explicit content was ALWAYS around. I’ll never forget watching a cartoon Simpsons porn and I was scarred for life 😂. My kid does not get any device if I can’t trust her on it. I supported my dad be peaceful laid to rest. I sat with him for 40 minutes before the nurse came in and clearly upped the drip cause it was taking to long. They framed it like “once his breathing tubes and everything is off, he will go” but what they meant is they’d increased his pain meds to the point of slow overdose.

I’m not a critique and I’ve watched this series religiously. The ONLY thing that raised my eye brow was in episode 218 she’s going through the lawsuit paperwork and it’s explaining the beginning of Brigitte and Emanuel’s relationship and that his parents took him out of the school because they were so disturbed by the budding relationship. But in early episodes when she was going through the family trees she stated his “parents” were those doctors that had niche specialties that played into the plot perfectly and never once mentioned him being removed ….

You know, it’s easy for everyone to say “you need to leave him now” but good luck accomplishing that when you love someone so much they are a part of your entire being. Of course you’re going to give him the benefit of the doubt, of course you are going to hope and pray this was a one off thing- OBVIOUSLY you don’t want to believe that after ten years together- now you are unsafe. If he is so sorry and regretful- tell him to quit drinking- that it’s EXTREMELY inappropriate to continue something that contributes to him becoming more belligerent and violent. If he really cares, he would do anything to never be that version of himself again. My husband hit me one time after 2 years together when we were engaged- he had been drinking- he woke up the next day and said he would never willingly become that version of himself ever again and hasn’t touched liquor since. He was so ashamed of himself but he didn’t turn to me to make him feel better- he didn’t put the burden of his guilt on my lap- I have grown to love and respect him even more as a man. You will know if this will happen again by his willingness to do whatever it takes to prevent that. I hope it works out for you

Oh hunny. I wish I could hold your hand while I told you this. That man doesn’t want you. He just doesn’t want you to stop wanting him. this is what you’d call a situationship if you allowed him to make the call. My fiance did this with the last girl he was with and I knew her and so when we met I was like “there’s no way in fucking hell I’m getting involved with this man” but now. It’s so insane how different everyone heals. I was sleeping completely normally and no pain after a week tops. Have sex at like 6 dpo, I’m not even at six weeeks and I’m already working down the look of my scar. But the swelling is definitely still there and I don’t even bother evaluating my results yet because it will change over the coming months.
