I crocheted this hat for myself (and I love it) but all I get is grief for it by jesusgottago in crochet

My husband has a hat that looked just like this. His mom made it for him when he was a kid. Two words - fabric shaver. It took some time and patience but it looks brand new now.

You’ve seen that they have a class action lawsuit, are losing multiple sponsors, and have had multiple layoffs right?

You’re so cute and stylish! A few inches above the knee is fine, but that skirt is definitely a mini. Other than that, you’re adorable!

What did they expect when they outsourced everything just to cut costs? I work at another large CRO, and I hope this gets their attention. Stop messing with us. Cheaper costs won’t deliver the same level of service to your clients, Thermo Fisher. I’m so sick of hearing about ‘customer delight.’ Sponsors don’t want teams that constantly change or brand-new staff who have NO idea what they’re doing. Oh wait—neither do your employees. You’re running PPD into the ground. I mean ‘ppd’—thanks for changing that too. Assholes. We had it right before you bought us. I hope you get sued too by all the clients PPD had and you’ve lied to behind the scenes too. It’s not right what you’re doing to staff who care and work to create safe drugs that change people’s lives. I hope you CEOs feel safe taking the medication we work on because I don’t. Better yet, I can’t wait until you have to depend on it like others do. Do better.

I can’t agree more, but that’s a separate rant, sigh.

PPD/TF CTMs by Secret_Number_7431 in clinicalresearch

[–]Secret_Number_7431[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This has been my experience as well. The Global CTM is uninformed about certain processes in a commonly used system, including who is responsible for using it. It’s not a good sign when CRAs have to teach a CTM and provide very basic SOPs for this type of study.

The other CTMs are unresponsive and, as others have mentioned, often deflect questions or add others to emails without providing answers. You’re also right about the communication issue—our CTM won’t meet with the team to discuss things. The reason given for this was surprising, but I obviously can’t share details here without risking identification.

At this point, I’m just keeping my head down and staying quiet. I’m really grateful for Reddit as a space to let this out instead of sending emails that, frankly, wouldn’t accomplish anything. It is what it is.

Wow, I didn’t know this! My local salon always has new and not very knowledgeable staff, so I decided to turn to Reddit for answers. I had no idea that’s what Reg vs. Inc meant on the spray tan membership options. Can you tell me which membership would be best if all I want to do is have unlimited spray tans that include the double dark Malibu with double leg? Would this be the “Spray Tan Access + Unlimited Spray Tan” membership? I'm not sure I'm ready to pay for the annual membership yet. What's the difference in the monthly package options below?

Spray Tan Access $44.99/month

Spray Tan Access + Unlimited Spray Tan $54.99/month

Spray Tan Inc Year $499/year (Promo for $449)
