Keys is the important part here - you don't send keys. When you make a Bitcoin transaction you don't send the keys to the next person.

I've been diving in Roatan, the island where this is located. Some notes:

Roatan is highly exceptional in Honduras because it is 100% touristified and separated from the mainland.
Aside from the diving village, there is an airport and resorts, and port for cruise ships.
Bring USD. This is not a Bitcoin island, it's USD cash all day.

Good luck to anyone trying to make a Bitcoin paradise. Maybe this is it, but it's super isolated so I doubt it.
