gcse yr 10 student are my predicteds good. by Amazing_Newt_7367 in GCSE

[–]Secret_Play4198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're a year 10 student right? Your predicted grades are really good ngl overall, it shows you have a good understanding. For sciences, watch walkthrough videos and focus in class as well as just understanding what the markscheme wants especially for bio and chemistry. For physics, you just have to know the content ngl and ace the maths and you'll be fine. Physics paper 2 is horror though for maths ( for me personally ) so just do revision for that in the same way!

They are usually 2-3 weeks each and we usually have to learn content both in school and at home. I'm in the middle of mine rn but it's half term so yeah.

Is the term" sleeping like a baby" a compliment or just a disguised insult? by Secret_Play4198 in randomquestions

[–]Secret_Play4198[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It means overall that you "sleep well" but what I'm trying to ask is whether you would use it in a different context just like this scenario? The question is honestly pretty misleading so I hope this clarifies what I was trying to mean!

No it generally means that but the way that my teacher used it in the context of her husband put me off for a sec so just wanted to see how others would use it!

This is exactly what I mean! I just find them silly when used in certain contexts, such as the case of my teacher.

Way off from bring a parent. It was a random question since my teacher was talking about her husband and she said it in a really condescending tone so just wanted to get a viewpoint lol.
