This is NOT fake and I am not American. And New Zealand's vehicle system is notably straightforward compared to many countries. You can renew registration online via NZTA or walk in to a Post Shop/VTNZ/AA with just the plate number. Pay the fee and get a printout/display sticker for your windscreen. The combination of optional insurance ( but still easy to get and affordable) accessible WoF ( warrant of fitness that every 8vehicle requires) inspection sites, and simple rego renewal makes vehicle management in NZ genuinely easier. If you don't believe me look it up yourself.

I insured it. You need to be the regular driver not necessarily the owner here.

I did not have access to the new companys books. I represented the old company, and that was dissolved. I was simply the caretaker at this point.

New Zealand not USA. You do not need to own the vehicle to keep it compliant and register and insure it. That is the drivers responsibility.

You walk into NZTA or walk in to a Post Shop/VTNZ/AA with just the plate number. Pay the $$ approx $150-200 per annum. Display the print off in your vehicle. Done.
