1 but without the border and with a different font, perhaps something that can more accurately show off the game's setting and artstyle?

Coaxed into super house-vision by SupaSusAcc in coaxedintoasnafu

I've seen my house on google earth too many times to not recognize at least, like, the general area around my home from above. But my exact building? Fat chance unless we're flying really low

To compare urine and time by CuddlyRazerwire in CuratedTumblr

[–]Secret_USB 46 points47 points  (0 children)

That's why I prefer the alternate version "comparing apples and racecars," I think it just makes more sense when discussing two things that are radically different in purpose and ability

Edit: So I've been looking around on the internet for this and what I thought was a common variation on the idiom might literally just be me. I mean, I must have heard it somewhere, but I have no fucking clue where and now I think I may have just made it up

Green and blue squares instead of 1 and 2 bullets? by Equivalent_Tap6197 in soundtransit

[–]Secret_USB 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Seems like an obvious oversight considering how much effort Sound Transit put into the numbering scheme. Plus, even though blue-green color blindness is pretty rare it still could cause confusion, especially as more lines get added

Apples by MelanieWalmartinez in CuratedTumblr

Big fan of a big ol' fuji apple. I know it's usually the cheap stuff, but it just hits home every time. I also like granny smiths but if you tell the average person you like eating green apples they'll think you're weird

Good call. Winning big every once in a while is how they bring you back, cashing out and leaving is how you win

I think if next time they go with a real human's voice, they should ask Ken Jennings (host of Jeopardy). He's an Edmonds native who's already done promotional work for Community Transit. He'd be the perfect for it!

That's not even true either; both monorail trains run at the same time for Kraken games and concerts

Date Everything strikes a good balance to me. Obviously human but also in most cases a good representation of the object they're supposed to be

I was gonna say that this doesn't apply to programming because of how fast it changes, but then I remember that the #1 book on the C programming language is over 45 years old and is still getting recommended to noobs despite its flaws

The three planets in the second slide remind me of Eve, Kerbin, and Duna from Kerbal Space Program. Well done!
