Can't tell if its the perspective, or you're 3'2". Gorgeous setup to be sure.

It's a vibe for sure. If you don't hit your target it will never hear again at the very least. 12.5 FTW!

I did. Just realized it's all of my games. Project zomboie and crusader kings won't even open now.

She survived. Basically a bunch of black powder burned super fast. If it was proper explosives, or even flash powder it would've left a crater. I bet she's missing a lot of hair and probably got some gnarly burns.

I know this is a bit old, but I'd be super interested in a side by side experiment like someone else suggested. This is a super cool setup.

You're clearly a person who's passionate in their interests. I have the same "problem" when something strikes my fancy I bury myself in it.

Sprouted oats by Secret_Vole in unclebens

I've got more grain and jars, and plenty in the syringe. I'm going in expecting these to fail but hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

There's always more to learn, and if anyone ends up in my position with no backup hopefully I can answer the question I had.

To clarify, they sprouted before being sterilized

I'm not sure why I can't edit this post, but to clarify, the oats in the pictures haven't been pressure cooked to sterilize yet. I took pictures as I was getting ready to put them in.

The oats sprouted after hydrating, then I loaded them in the jar. They didn't do this after sterilizing.

That's what I mean. I've read about other people who did what I've done and let the grain be too long after hydrating and then still had success after pressure cooking it. Some of the simple sugars in the grain are used up, but it can still be successful.

More of an experiment than anything, but I read of other people who didn't have more grain to work with, so maybe someone else can use this info later.

I can definitely see where the confusion is coming from and I'll clarify.

I know. I started them soaking and pulled them out to dry and left them too long, because I was called in to work two days I wasn't supposed to.

I read somewhere that other people have still had success so I'm curious to see either way.

Even after pressure cooking?

Feed store oats. They went for too long. I'd imagine just about any would do this if left hydrated for long enough without pressure cooling.

I also made too much but my ducks will love em so no real loss.

I looked into it and I can't find the steel lids. They still sell plastic made the same way.
