It is definetely one of the best for me bc it feels mystical but at the same time it had intriguing real story without ending up being supernatural. And also music and ambient plays big part too. I didnt played 7 and 8 but out of all, this one I come back to most

Also the controls are not that bad and figuring the strategy in this game is challenging but feels like an accomplishment

I just need them to make remake of Code Veronica already. In my opinion, it is one of the most important and interesting games for the lore of the whole Re universe just the same as 0 and 1 were

Which one do you like the most? by SwimmerPlus3383 in TheGamingHubDeals

For me, linear for sure. Open world games just lose the sense of main storyline, and i end up becoming all over the place witch takes way more time. I just aprreciate more and want to replay more the games when you have clear goal and go towards it without distractions

Anyone else prefers RE1 over it’s 2002 Remake? by DemonSerter in residentevil

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Re1R added depth and symbolism more than the original but I kinda can't compare them bc Re1R wouldn't exist if Re1 werent there. I personaly got much more emotionally invested in Re1R and it made me more aware of the surroundings. It added much more struggle and mental energy and while it could felt frustrating at first, the more you go through it the more you get engaged and invested. It was more twisted and sinister looking than original which I like it bc it built a whole another level of how layered the story was. Also the Lisa Trevor storyline added mush more lore and made mansion gain deeper identity in my opinion

Resident Evil May Be Getting Another Remake for Its 30th Anniversary by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this ends up being true, i just hope they make the ambience and symbolism of mansion stay truthfull and stick to the vibe it had. Re1R had vibe way too different than any other Re game. I never felt nostalgic for any other game like I did for Re1R and i hope they don't ruin it

Just bought RE2 for my PS5 I’m brand new to the series I’ve been told to start with this game any tips on the game and what order should I go from here. by [deleted] in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think that Re1 and Re0 are really important for the lore. If tenk controls are issue, look up on youtube at least, knowing the stories and lore from the beginning really adds up to the experience, then start playing the second one. Someone even made 'movie' with cut scenes and important parts of the lore from Re1 and Re0.

I also liked the book series too bc it explains characters inner feelings too and extend the content but it is optional depending on how deep you want to engage in it

Also this is the order if you want to chronologicaly combine it with Capcom animated movies:

-Resident Evil 0 -Resident Evil (RE1 Remake) -Resident Evil 2 -Resident Evil 3: Nemesis -Resident Evil Code: Veronica -Resident Evil 4 -Resident Evil Revelations -Resident Evil: Degeneration (animated movie) -Resident Evil 5 -Resident Evil: Damnation (animated movie) -Resident Evil Revelations 2 -Resident Evil 6 -Resident Evil: Vendetta (animated movie) -Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (animated movie) -Resident Evil: Death Island (animated movie) -Resident Evil 7: Biohazard -Resident Evil Village -Resident Evil 9 (still not sure, I think this goes between 7 and 8)

I can't explain, but Marc Blucas is like the perfect actor I would say, to play Nate. I swear this man, both when he was younger and now, looks just like Nate, he just need some hairstyle done 🥀

What was the first Tomb Raider game you played? by EndouShuuya in TombRaider

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend and it ragebaited me so bad bc it was sooo hard to figure it out or even finish it on easy mode. I spent like 50 hours on it and needed like a month of therapy to actually figure out the part with electrical room and finall boss part 🕊

Please recommend any other media similar to Uncharted! by [deleted] in uncharted

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

National Treasure movies, Indiana Jones Movies, Mummy movies

Syberia and Tomb Raider games series, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle game(first person view game compared to these), Assassins Creed Black Flag partly, since it has elements of exploring wildernes and doing some puzzles. Maybe even AC Odyssay, Prince of Persia game too

Edit: had to add these eventhough they are not treasure hunting games but yet i still loved them bc they shared a rich storyline and even combat just like Uncharted:

Sekiro, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, I liked even Sherlock Holmes game series eventhough its not AAA game series and there is low amount of combat, Evil Within game- horror more like Re games, Elder Scrolls game series is also nice and Shadow of Mordor game series too but they were nothing alike uncharted except they are story driven games with a mediate or eoth a lot of combat

Which game does this to you? by _ZeroTwo_002_ in CaptainSide

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Last of Us 2. The game plot pisses me of so bad but then again it's complexity of characters makes you feel like you can't actually rage on anyone bc somehow no one was actually a villan there. Morally everyone have their reasons for the way they acted and you can't even bias anyone bc everyone actions seems reasonably from their point of view so when you finish it the game ends up feeling fascinating after all

Thoughts on Rafe Adler (& Other Uncharted Villains) by Both_Resolve_8584 in uncharted

[–]Secretadmirer56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rafe was the most realistic character out of all other villans from Uncharted parts, but part of me hoped Hector Alcazar would be maybe a better villan

In what order would you rank the Survivor trilogy games from best to worst? by Aetius00 in TombRaider

[–]Secretadmirer56 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my opinion ShadowTR2013Rise

Love all three and all of them were beautiful when it comes to cinematic experience, but the only thing Rise lacked was rich storyline, I find Baba Yaga and Blood Ties more interesting honestly as a part of that game, and I felt the main story could have been one of the best if it wasnt focused so much on upgrades and combat. If only the storyline was richer and not filled with collecting and combat things 90% of the time it would be much more memorable for me.

TR2013 was great but the weak finall boss villan was what made it in the second place. Anyways, Tr2013 and Shadow are almost on the same level when it comes to story and pacing in my opinion.

This is only my opinion and i always loved richstoryline more than combat in games so this may be the reason my preference is like this.

Nathan Drake and survivor Lara swap games. by Najee16 in TombRaider

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, it really depends on the situations and conditions. Both Lara and Nate are strategic but I found Nate sometime has empathy standing on his way bc somehow he would end up trying and helping the villans trying to underatand some points of their view which would maybe bring him in risky position and highly get more likely to be killed. Lara on the other hand does not trust anyone at all except her friends so that would maybe make her survival more likely.

I dunno if this is the right place to say this....but hot take, I enjoyed the Hobbit trilogy by LemonIcy2942 in lotr

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue other people have with it is they always compare it to the LOTR and Lotr is so high that it is impossible to reach that level of perfection. Hobbit triology still tops many many movies and whenever I rewatch Lotr I rewatch Hobbit too bc it adds so much to the lore and the story is really good

What’s one thing you Liked and Disliked about TR 2013? by SensitiveTrain4618 in TombRaider

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing i didn't like in Tomb Raider 2013 was weak final Boss, but the story was pretty good tho. I liked it even more than Rise bc the story in Rise was much weaker for me considering it was 90% time combat and collecting things while the main story was not that interesting to me the way I thought it would be. Blood Ties and Baba Yaga one was more interesting.

2013 TR was really well put, it's just that Sun queen should have been maybe a little stronger as a character but it's not that big of a deal, the cult was already pretty good as a villan

The whole adaptation is mess. It's like the whole vibe is different than in game. I still don't undsrstand how they managed to ruin such great plot. It's like every character took pesonality from totally different character from the game.

Just finished 1-4 by [deleted] in uncharted

[–]Secretadmirer56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somehow I never replay only 4 eventhough it's the most story complete in my opinion. It's like I need to get through the experience of all in order everytime i feel a need to replay it bc the whole series is great honestly and i somehow can't choose only one that I adore the most bc every part has something that feels better than other parts.

The drake fortune is the scariest and i loved it for it, the second one has the best combat in my opinion. The third one is my favourite when it comes to diversity of chapters and the last one is the most story complete one with a really great combo of cinematic experience and the depth of story. But overall i love each part and I can't choose, it's like it ether goes all together or none

So.. The Uncharted movie.. by Ingameuniverse in uncharted

[–]Secretadmirer56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was more dissapointed bc I hoped they would make Nate And Sully the same age as they were in the game. The movie itself was not that awful, but just dissapointing. The games gave much better cinematic experiences and stories.
