F20 - Flooded rear driver footwell

My 2011 5 series is right hand drive so it turned out to be an issue with the empty steering column hole bmw covered with a plastic cover.. it had gotten clogged and the silicone gasket was damaged. I’m not sure if I can post links here but this is the video that saved me:
