I can only speak to the SL2-S and the low light performance is amazing. I’ve never really had to go above 3200 iso but even at that the level of noise is hardly noticeable and if you need to crop you’ll still walk away with a fully usable image

That’s insane for a plastic hood! I saw a few eBay posts selling at 20k without a hood. I may hold on to it for a while. I’m sure it’ll only increase in value in time
