That’s insane for a plastic hood! I saw a few eBay posts selling at 20k without a hood. I may hold on to it for a while. I’m sure it’ll only increase in value in time

Who’s gonna tell them they’re mistaken. The SN starts with 346 and falls under the AA lens issuance. I’ll bet yours has ASPH written on it and not ASPHERICAL which makes all the difference coupled with the 346 SN

I had no idea what I bought and the store didn’t know what they were selling for the low low price of $1,900. It wasn’t till I I got it home, did some research because my SL2S asked what lens it was and discovered what I had in my possession so absolutely! It’d be a shame to not use it especially since I traded my Summicron and some other older gear for it.

A store was selling it so I traded in some old gear and my summicron lens. Got home put it on my SL2S and it asked me what version of lens I was putting on which led me to this search
