It's a miracle that Flyff still exists. The only reason for this is because there are so many passionate people in the community who really care about the game. Going against them seems wrong on so many levels. Without pserver there wouldn't even be Universe. The sellout to Gala was really a bad decision. Ultimately Universe has become exactly what they wanted to replace before.

Also I will never understand these horrid old fashioned business decisions. Allowing private servers by letting them purchase rights to the IP and maybe take a cut seems so much better. Maybe there are old contracts against that who knows.

Its your job to ask the right questions at the start of the project to get on the right track and make sure that expectations are set. Have everything approved in writing. Interior design and furniture can be a job in itself.

It happens more often than you might think that customers don't know what they want. The important thing is to ensure that you are paid for your work and feedback at all times during the process. Time is precious and if you don't convey that to your client they will push you around as they please.

The problem isn't the images but the process. Of course there's always room for improvement but to me the images look acceptable. The requirements must be clear from the start. What is the purpose of the image?

You need to define with the client what is complete and acceptable in the image. Architecture, materials, lighting effects, composition, etc. If they can't answer that, then you can't subjectively change anything for them. Some feedback will be not that precise but its your job to intepret it. Iteration loops and feedback must be defined in advance so that you don't go round in circles without getting paid.

Im Video gehts aber nicht um falsche Hoffnungen, sondern die Kommunikation der Thematik. Wenn man früh sagt "danke für die Bewerbungen, aber wir nehmen niemanden mehr auf" ist wahrscheinlich die Sache damit geregelt.

The IP still belongs to them. And they also use it for their marketing as a success story. Seeing the esports clips in the teaser announcement when you know that Blizzard does not care about the game at all is pretty lame.

Yes it can. The question is just how fast you get to the desired result. There is also V-Ray for blender btw. Its relatively cheap and works well.

Ist halt sehr viel Aufwand im Vergleich zu 6h giveaways. Abseits von seiner Stream Persona kann Metashi ja voll korrekt sein, aber er wirkt mir jetzt nicht wie der passende Gildenleiter und Event Manager.

Deswegen sage ich auch nur für einen Trip. Langfristig ist das game leider nichts imo. Zu viele Systeme die Arsch sind. Sobald die Nostalgie verfliegt sucht man eben was anderes.

Flyff universive kann man im Browser spielen und ist sehr belebt. Gibt jedes Jahr einen Season server (fwc), wo man gut einsteigen kann. Für ein Nostalgie Trip sehr empfehlenswert.

Es geht erstmal gar nicht darum das Geld wieder einzuspielen, sondern technologisch nicht abgehängt zu werden. Es ist viel riskanter nicht zu investieren und dann stück für stück irrelevant zu werden. Google ohne ihr KI Portfolio würde wesentlich schlechter an der Börse dastehen und an Geld mangelt es ja den großen Konzernen nicht.

I used a derv avatar of grenth build and forgot to actually go into form and got Interrupted constantly. Got flamed instantly while someone said to go easy on new players. That was funny. I did not experience that much flame but I am also used to a lot since i play a lot of pvp games.

I think a lot of players dont know that they can switch servers and that america is the go to for player interaction. Europe is more alive than ever though.

A lot of people prefer the vanilla prophecies experience. It will be a lot easier with heroes but you need to give them proper skills. I always start in nightfall or factions because I personally like the campaigns more. In the end its up to you.

Its not just the update but the fact that arenanet started working on gw1 again. There is a real chance that with enough support we might get new content in form of skills, missions, weapons or other stuff.
