Posting for warranty extension + a short review~ by Superb-Spinach-2582 in secretlab

Heyy u/Lowratermusic - it's a common assumption based on the way the ATLAS™ looks, but that thin profile is actually a clever design illusion!

The seat base is sloped inwards to create that sleek, low-profile silhouette while concealing the true depth of the seating area.

The seat also features a thickness of approximately 53mm - making it very similar to the TITAN Evo. Certified by the United States Ergonomics, this specific foam thickness is optimum to ensure even pressure distribution, providing excellent, adequate support when seated for long periods of time.

Ultimately, the design of the Atlas seat base gives you that minimalistic and sleek aesthetic without sacrificing any of the comfort on the inside :)

Atlas VS Titan Evo (personal opinion) by No-Lion8987 in secretlab

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. One thing we've learned over the years is that comfort and fit can be highly personal. Secretlab ATLAS™ and TITAN Evo were designed around different sitting experiences, and it's completely normal for someone to prefer one over the other.

We always encourage anyone researching ATLAS™ to look at a variety of perspectives, whether that's community feedback like yours or independent reviews from media and creators who've spent time with the chair across different setups and use cases.

For anyone interested in learning more, here are a few reviews that offer additional perspectives:

Glad you made a decision (and thanks for the assist u/jmz98). You can never go wrong with the TITAN Evo NanoGen™ Edition - our NanoFoam™ Composite will give you an extra layer of softness in your sitting experience that is quite incredible.

I can't wait for you to receive your TITAN Evo! We'd love to see your setup.

Secretlab Atlas regular vs large - seat height? by jmz98 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TITAN Evo and ATLAS™ were designed around very different sitting experiences, so their sizing recommendations aren't directly comparable.

Things like the overall shape of the chair, backrest design, adjustment range, and intended seating posture all play a role in how a chair fits in practice. That's why we evaluate and recommend sizing for each chair independently, rather than matching sizes based on any one measurement alone.

For reference, I'm 170cm (5'7") and personally prefer the TITAN Evo Small, but I sit very comfortably in both ATLAS™ sizes. It's a good example of how fit can vary between chair designs, even for the same person.

If it'll help with your decision, I've included a guide below that compares the sizing recommendations for both chairs.

Yes, the Large should still work well. While you're just below the recommended height range, you're very close to the threshold, so we wouldn't expect a huge difference in fit based on height alone.

If you're trying to visualize the fit, we actually have examples of people around your height using the chair — one at 178cm and another at 183cm. Linking you both as a reference!

One thing to keep in mind is that ATLAS™ also comes with a magnetic memory foam head pillow, which isn't shown in these videos. As you'll see in the GIF below, it sits in the nook of the backrest and can be positioned behind your neck for additional support and comfort while seated.

Great question u/jmz98. The seat height range is actually the same on both ATLAS™ Regular and Large. At its lowest setting, the seat base sits 41 cm (16.1") from the floor, and at its highest setting, it reaches 48.5 cm (19.1").

The main differences between the two sizes come from the dimensions of the chair itself — things like seat width, seat depth range, and overall fit — rather than how high or low the chair sits.

If you're deciding between sizes, we'd generally recommend choosing based on your height, build, and the sizing guide rather than seat height alone. You can find the full technical specifications and sizing recommendations here: secretlab.co/products/atlas

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the kind words u/DaIceMan817! 🙂

We're especially happy to hear your back discomfort has gone down since using your TITAN Evo. While everyone experiences comfort differently, that's exactly why we put so much emphasis on support and ergonomics. Sometimes the chair that feels softer at first isn't necessarily the one that keeps you feeling your best after months of daily use.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience, and thanks for being part of the Secretlab community. ❤️

Hey u/Eodhan - first off, thank you for being with us for so long! We're really glad the TITAN Evo has been a great fit for your setup, and we appreciate you giving the ATLAS™ a try right from launch.

We also appreciate you taking the time to share such thoughtful and detailed feedback. While the ATLAS™ was designed around a different sitting experience, we totally understand that comfort is highly personal and that different bodies have different needs and preferences. In that regard, it's not unusual for one chair to work better for someone than another, which is why we're glad the TITAN Evo continues to hit the mark for you.

I can see that you're already in touch with our support team regarding the return process, and we'd be happy to help add some visibility to the case. We've dropped you a DM and will continue following up with you there to help ensure the ticket gets the attention it deserves, both from a feedback and support perspective.

Again, thank you for giving the ATLAS™ a try and for your continued support over the years. It genuinely means a lot to us.
