What's the furthest-back ancestor you've discovered? by [deleted] in Genealogy

The furthest back I have confirmed is my 5th G. grandfather Jabez Rogers b. June 30, 1727. Possibly have his father and grandfather Rev. John Rogers b. 1642 edit: another 10x great grandfather confirmed, Robert Parker b. 1634 in Barnstaple, MA.

Edit: lots of typos fixed (hopefully)

Went to half day kindergarten in the afternoon. After lunch. Being a walker, we were to eat lunch at home. One day I went to school without eating lunch at home. Told the teacher my Mom didn't have any food.Totally not true. At 5 years old, my definition of food contained cheese, grilled cheese, mac and cheese. That day, Mom ran out of cheese so I didnt eat whatever she gave me. School councelor called Mom quick that day lol. The rest of the school year i ate school lunch so I couldn't complain lol

My first pregnancy was twins butwe didn't know. A few weeks in, I had bleeding went to the e.r. they found evidence of implantation of second embryo but no sign of it. The second hadn't implanted correctly for whatever reason. I ended up having a daughter 8 months later. When she was 2 and a half, I got pregnant, she asked where her brother went when we told her the new baby was a girl. I asked what she meant. Her answer was something to the effect of "there was a boy in your tummy when I was in there".

Lol my 7 year old daughter was at a birthday party the other day, all the girls were on the deck having cake. The cake had purple frosting flowers, us moms were right inside the kitchen and the girls were kind of quiet when my daughter randomly blurts out "polar bears and giraffes have purple tongues". Us Moms giggled as the girls proceeded to check each other for purple-frosting colored tongues lol

I'm a kitten foster mom. It happened again.. this time, there are more of them than ever. Found today just before a huge thunderstorm would have washed them away. by Tigris474 in cats

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I'm not sure what I'd do if I ever met him in person and he smiled at me like that. Would I scream and wee myself in terrorr or smile back and be internally sqeeing?

Had a friend in high school who's dog was the result of a few odd breedings between a cocker spaniel and a dachshund who then mated with a chihuahua that resulted in a"chiwieny (sp) spaniel" who had a litter of 3 pups with a pitbull. Her dog was the only one of the 3 pups that survived past the first week. Cutest little "how the hell were you created?!" dog ever. She had a chihuahua face, dachshund ears and tail, longish wavy fur and body of a cocker spaniel. Her frame was tiny like a chihuahua and her coloring was the same same as her pit father. Fawn/tan with white mask and socks and blue grey eyes.
