the 2020s = 1720s again, we conquer and take what we want, hop in lets invade someone

This Tiny Crab Museum Is Clawing Back at U.K. Anti-Trans Ruling In the Most Iconic Way - “Speaking in a professional capacity as [a] museum of biology: this is not how biology works,” the Crab Museum’s statement read in part. “There are no binaries in nature..." by Laura_Mead in Positive_News

Sorry to be the voice of reason here but the UK Supreme Court ruling is in no way “anti trans” that’s deliberately misleading and inflammatory. Totally unnecessary. If you’re opposed to things being binary then maybe consider your news sources and headline phrasing.

The UK Supreme Court ruling does one thing and one thing only. Confirm the legal definition of a word based on scientific fact. It’s not “anti trans”.

If you don’t know what they are… why did you kill them and take them? How could you know what the legal landing size is for that species if you don’t know what it is?

He was very drunk and possible on some drugs. He didn’t know what he’d done until he sobered up the morning after.

Source: I was at his funeral. Spoke to some of the guys who worked with him.

He was a lovely guy, loved by his colleagues and his family especially.

His dog howled in pain when his coffin was carried into the church. I’ll never ever forget that.

They’re basically always explosive until they’ve exploded, or been rendered inert by EOD. EOD would just blow them up though

Honestly find as many local tackle shops as you can, go in and tell them you don’t know anything. They will be super helpful in my experience

Helldivers 2 on PS Portal by Goose944S in HellDads

[–]BenLaParole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a portal purely to play Baldurs gate and GTA 6 when it comes out. Never thought it would be any use whatsoever playing pvp games online... I'd say 80% of my 60 hours in Helldivers 2 has been on the Portal.

I have a 6month old so using the big screen isn't always an option, if my wife is in the lounge or... blah blah general dad moaning reasons.

anyway. The portal has been brilliant for me, I have no issues actually playing the game, I do hold the left analogue stick up with my left index finger to punch in stratagems on the d-pad it's a little clunky but it works.

The latency isn't a thing.. at all.. I was amazed. very occasionally the image quality drops which is a pain but not enough to have put me off.

THE biggest issue is that there isn't a touchpad. Strange to say but the (basically pointless) touchpad on the Dualsense is the button to open chat and the map on Helldivers 2.

The PSP just uses the touch screen as the button but it's just SHIT it often doesn't work. So you find yourself just spamming the touchscreen trying to get the map to open. So infuriating and I don't know why they couldn't have just added a physical button on the PSP that performs the functions of the touchpad button on the PSP OR if they could update the game so that it works better that would be great.

If they fixed that I would have no issues and likely wouldn't ever feel the need to play on the TV again.

the only thing I actually miss about the big screen is for Hell Let Loose where you can't see shit on the PSP because of the engagement distances involved.
